Sony 148700511 RMT-D187A Remote Commander Remote Control for DVD

It was a cloudy yet calm Monday night when we returned home from our daughters Choir rehearsal. Everything initially appeared quite normal, However that was soon to change. My wife screams from the living room and upon my arrival at her side it was only too clear we had fallen victim to Remote Abduction. It was obvious to us that aliens needed the quantum flux widgetabob located within this device to build a time traveling machine and venture back in time to destroy the evil MTV overlords that green lighted Jersey shore. While this aspect is very appealing it did make watching "Army of Darkness" far to cumbersome to bare and I was forced to set out to locate a replacement remote. An obviously daunting undertaking but one I was willing to make for my family. After packing a light snack and pouring a cup of coffee I ventured forth unto the Amazon. With untold dangers around every corner I made slow but constant progress and finally came upon a Mystical Blind woman that spoke of a device so amazing it would allow me to control my DVD player yet again. I told her "I must have this device, At any cost" she told my the cost would be high. Which made me hesitant but alas I stated "I must know, What is the cost of this mythical device." "$14.26 US" she replied. That wasn't so bad until she continued "plus shipping." "NOOOOOO!!!!" I cried out while falling to my knees reaching towards the heavens. As disheartening as this was I knew I could not fail my family. I only hope the Aliens are successful and refrain from abducting this device. Oh yeah, great device.

So glad I found this. It works great.

We lost our last remote (don't know how or where) so purchased this replacement for our DVD player. Neither of us knew what we were doing but were able to get it synced up with the player and the TV in no time. Great product and worth the price. Without it, we were unable to watch DVDs because we couldn't get the cursor to go up and down to select the chapters.

This remote was purchased because it is the remote that goes to my DVD player. I was given the player with no remote and this remote allows me to set the different screens and start and stop, pause and go back on movies.It works perfectly and does everything it is supposed to.

Has BEEN A GREAT ADDITION TO MY PLAYSTATION AND WORKS PERFECTLY. I LOVE THE FACT THAT U CAN EVEN EJECT DVD AND GAMES WITH PUSH OF BUTTON ON REMOTE. A GREAT ADDITION. A

Our dog chewed up the original remote that came with the DVD player. When the remote was received it looked just like the one we had and works great.

I have no idea what took me so long to buy this replacement. Seriously, we've been watching the previews on DVD's for over a year now because we couldn't get to the menu without a remote. Dumb. Just buy this and move on with your movie-watching life! :)
