Perhaps the best of the cheap 72" tripods
I, probably like you, am an amateur at photography and video production, and I just need something to hold the equipment at the right height so I can shoot occasional photos or video. There is some competition on Amazon in this segment, and I haven't tried all of the 72" tripod variants available, but of the 4 types I have tried these are my favorite. The legs are in 4 segments, which allows it to collapse to a slightly smaller size than the 3-segment variants - this has the potential downside that the tripod portion might not be quite as stable on 4-segments than 3-segments, but that's an irrelevant aspect because if you want the maximum height you'll extend the monopod. The monopod is pretty stable when extended fully, it can be pushed a few millimeters in any direction without much force - but I doubt normal wind can wobble it much and there really isn't anything with better fitment in this price range. This is why I say the stability from the tripod portion doesn't really make a difference, as the monopod wobble will be greater than tripod wobble regardless of how many segments the legs are in. It is very light weight, and the foam pads make it more comfortable to carry. And finally the swivel head is decently robust yet fairly compact - it could be a few millimeters less wide (a slightly thinner dial for the horizontal movement would provide that), and that would make the head exactly as wide as the legs are when folded up, but that's a tiny imperfection that I would only expect the designers of a much, much more expensive product to be concerned with. I am happy to entrust several of these with a cell phone or few hundred dollars of camera equipment each.If I was using a camera that costs thousands of dollars, or working on a professional set, I would probably buy something more expensive and robust. But there are not many options between this tripod and established brands like Manfrotto which cost several times more.So in summary, if you need a camera to be held somewhere between 22 inches and 72 inches, this tripod will do exactly what you need it to do.

Multi-use Tripod. Good for Nikon DSLR cameras
As a beginner photographer, I want to take night images. I would need to make my shutter speed lower. No matter how steady you hold the camera, you will end up having images very blurry and cannot see the object. I knew I needed to invest in a tripod to take good photos. Tripod is essential for photographers. I had searched up many different tripods, yet none can be compared to this one. For me, an ideal tripod is light so it is easy to carry. It needs to be convenient, which means can be multi-use. This tripod met my criteria. This FOSITAN tripod is light and easy to carry around. Moreover, it has a lot of flexibility. For instance, the tripod can be a monopod by taking out the middle column. If I need to go to places with a lot of people, I would not bring the tripod, but bring the monopod with me. Moreover, both the tripod and monopod can be moved at different angles. Now I can use it to take night images with friends, without having to struggle to find something to stabilize the camera when I adjust the shutter speed lower. The tripod can hold your cellphone too! These different functions attracted to me buy this product. It is a good investment if you are into photography since you will eventually want to explore different methods to take photos. Highly recommended this product if you're interested in taking night images.

Okay for the price for beginners 📷
This tripod stand is good for amateur/beginner use that doesn't require advanced angles/titling. You can NOT turn the tripod head to the side to shoot vertical video. You also can not get any floor shots as the tripod head doesn't pan down that much. The tripod head isn't the greatest. It's made with cheap plastic and it's not the best at securing the camera to the plate. It has that cheap plate that is difficult to screw in with your fingers, unlike professional quality tripod plates that have a wider/thicker metal hook/screw in the base. The tripod legs seem decently sturdy for a lighter to medium-weight camera and lense. However, I wouldn't use this with a heavy camera body and/or an attached telescope metal lens. I also would add weight (IE: sandbags) to this tripod for added security as this doesn't feel super secure.Overall, this is a good "1st-time tripod" or an emergency/budget option to have on hand but it's definitely not built to last or for heavy usage. I bought this at a discount (I had a coupon), but I wouldn't spend more than $40 on this tripod. I hope this review helps :)

Perfect item for what I needed
I am relatively new to using tripods and only started doing it so that we could use a camcorder to record our children's outdoor football and soccer games. I have had two previous tripods that I purchased in the stores. Those were flimsy and felt cheaply made and did not last long. This particular tripod was a bit more than what I had spent in the past but you could tell the difference right away. The legs felt more sturdy and the clips didn't feel like cheap plastic. I generally left the items in the car during the season and when it got cold, where the previous tripod leg clips would 'freeze up' and be hard to open, this particular tripods opened easily each time. It was a breeze to set up and take down. I really enjoyed the added feature of being able to remove the center piece to walk around with it when needed. I have not used the phone holder adapter and if i do, will come back to edit review. I also plan on using this with our camera to see how that works.
