Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Travel Bag

I love this bag. It is just the right size for my petite frame, not too big but big enough to hold all I need for travel. I like the zippers and the option to secure them if necessary. The material is nice and thick and I think it will wear well over time.

Anti-theft purse, good quality. Very much like the water/drink bottle outer pocket. But surprisingly main compartment not as roomy as it looks from its outer dimensions. They could probably reduce the height an inch to give it a better shape since the strap is thicker and takes up more room when stuffing it into a backpack when consolidating carry-on bags before boarding a plane.

The perfect travel bag! Comfortable, crossbody fit goes with everything, I can now feel safe carrying valuables as the ani theft protection is easy to use and store my items. Fashionable too!

I spent about a month before my recent trip trying out different travel bags before I found this one. It checked 95% of my needs!Pros: tons of space, it fit sooo much, tons of pockets and allowed me to stay organized. Felt secure having the RFID pocket, the locking zippers and the uncuttable crossbody strap. The material is nice and durable and easy to keep clean as well.Cons: the cell phone pocket needs to be bigger, my iPhone 15 Max didn’t fit. The water bottle pocket could be bigger, since it’s in a zipper that expands the mesh could be larger to accommodate something other than a plastic bottle.Then some nit picky details would be, having all of the zippers zip in the same direction, a tech pocket on the back, or even a pocket inside the larger compartment, for like a kindle (not super necessary, because the large compartment is plenty big enough but it would just be nice so other stuff doesn’t turn my kindle on and off) and lastly the crossbody strap could be a little wider or needs a padded cuff, if you have a lot of stuff in the bag it does tend to cut into your shoulder.Overall this was my final choice for travel and I’m happy with how it held up, it was a great price, I managed to snag it on sale which was a plus! Bag just needs a 2025 facelift and it’ll be perfect, and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase the updated version!

I love this bag -- it's the second time I've bought it! Had an earlier model of the same bag that I used regularly for years, but had to retire it recently after two of the zippers finally gave out. There have been some changes and improvements to the current model being sold. 1) Magnet closure on side pocket replaced with Velcro closure. This is a good improvement as magnets have no place on handbags (and the earlier version erased my bus pass on one occasion). 2) Lobster-claw security clasps have been replaced with rectangular hinge clasps. This is a mixed change. The new clasps are easier to use, but may be slightly less secure. The new clasps are probably less likely to break, but due to how they are attached, they'd be harder to replace if they do break. 3) Two interior mesh pockets in main compartment have been removed. Generally this is a positive. The mesh tended to catch on things, and there are still two cloth pockets that hold my phone and glasses. This frees up more space in the main compartment. 4) A sturdy ribbon with clasp has been installed in the main compartment -- great for easily finding your keys. 5) Middle wallet compartment now has a interior zip pocket, similar to the larger one in the main compartment. This seems more secure and more functional than the earlier model's small open pocket. 6) Credit card slots have been moved to the other side of the middle wallet compartment, outside of the cash pocket. This works fine. 7) Cash pocket is slightly smaller than the one on the earlier model. Works OK for dollars, but might be harder for some foreign currencies or placing a bank envelope. 8) Gusset added to wallet compartment. This makes it easier to open this compartment and access your items. 9) All three zippers seem to have been upgraded to stronger, sturdier ones. Bodes well for preventing the main reason I had to give up my earlier bag!If I could make one suggestion for improving this bag, it would be to re-think the side pockets. The one with the Velcro closure is really too small for securely holding a phone, and the zippered one on the other side, allegedly for holding a water bottle, is really not functional for holding anything other than a mini water bottle, which most people don't bother to use or carry in a bag. I think it's OK to have at least one side pocket for holding small items you want to access quickly, but I think an open envelope pocket on the back side of the bag, for holding papers or realistically stashing a phone, would be more useful.Although I've made a lot of critiques here, I have to say that I love this bag and do highly recommend it. I originally bought it before travelling abroad, but ended up using it as an "every day" bag. The security features help me feel more protected wherever I go, and it's just the right size for holding the things I need to have with me. I look forward to more years of using this bag!

Perfect size for my Europe trip. Holds a lot of room for everything.

Bought this bag for a European vacation. I used the one side pocket for my phone charger. The other fit a disposable plastic water bottle or my umbrella. Small outside pocket for phone, tissues, hand sani, etc. Small interior pocket for cash and credit cards. Large pocket for everything else, including zipper portion for passports and key chain for keys. The purse did the job, but was so annoying that I would have returned it if I could.Pros --Kept my belongings safe-RFID slots for credit cards-Attractive-Lots of pocketsCons --Slippery! Must be worn cross body or the bag slips right off your shoulder-Snags! Zipper pulls have the tiniest opening which catches on things. Ruined two sweaters and a scarf. Also snagged on my carry-on bag while going through security and could not get the two bags apart.-Zipper pulls are hard to find/grab hold of when not clipped to the D-rings for security. The pulls disappear down into the folds of the bag and require some fumbling to find and grab hold of.-Zippers go left to right on some sections and right to left on others. Confusing and annoying.
