CATCAT Women's Mae Waterproof Steel Toe Work Boot

These boots are very well constructed. They exceeded my expectations. I purchased these to replace a pair of worn out work boots. I was looking for a work boot with steel reinforced toes, as I was doing hardscaping and needed the extra protection. These boots are solid, but comfortable. They are waterproof and have great traction. They boots do seem to run slightly big. I normally wear a women's 7.5 (US), but probably could have gotten a 7. I was not looking for anything stylish - just practical. This boot is exactly what I was looking for.

One of the best work boots I have purhased. CAT is a great brand. They are comfortable. They are very functional. I am on my feet a large portion of my 8-13 hour work day and these help out a great deal. I like that they are water proof. The reflective accents are a plus. They are true to size and width. The style makes for an eye catching work boot. They aren't heavy but pretty light for a work boot.

Three and a half years later - moving stars to 5 from 4. Boots wear like champs. Keep in condition with saddle soap, leather conditioner and polish and they'll keep you in great condition. Best footwear I've ever had.Eight months later & adding to my review below. Best work boots I've ever had. Wear almost every work day. Feet are always comfortable and don't know how - but my feet are NEVER cold. Some kind of fantastic breathability of materials and construction- the natural sweating of feet is NEVER an issue. Socks aren't damp and feet are never cold. It's like magic. Would wear these things with a dress if I could.I take a 7.5 Wide; ordered that & found it true to size. Foot was comfortable immediately- no breaking in. Cuffs were stiff against upper ankle first 3 days - just enough to make me conscious of friction but not enough to cause skin abrasion. By day 4 was not aware of it.Steel toe is unobtrusive- don't feel it when foot bends. Overall shoe is not heavy and is comfortable with 15 hour/day wearing. Good shoelaces- like stretchy paracord. Very satisfied with fit, comfort, foot & ankle support & safety in heavy work. This review doesn't cover durability bc I haven't worn them long enough, but based on the manufacturer's reputation for well-made products and my own experience to date, I have no hesitations in recommending them for work around the farm or construction site.

I wear these shoes to my third shift job that specifically need steel toe shoes. The ones they gave hurt my feet and I rubbed a hole through the heel. These don’t hurt my feet and I don’t have any issues thus far. I got a wide and don’t feel my feet sliding around, so it’s true to the size. I definitely recommend despite the price.

Great boots, comfortable and sturdy for work. They fit a tad big but with my work socks and feet swelling from the heat, they’ll be just fine. The leather is nice and the steel toe is a must for work.

I received these boots today, unboxed them and the glue at the sole was already coming apart in 2 places...only tried them on. I thought they would be a great boot bc they were CAT and paid $116. Started a return I need a boot that will last. Look very nice brand new but you can tell one scratch will be very easily visible. Sucks the rest of the crew has new boots and I have to return mine. My $60 sketchers lasted 3 years and still can wear them.
