Smooth actuation means a lot
I have about 200 animals that I have to care for, so lots of wormer, etc., and because we breed and finish our own, I have to deal with lots of different sizes and doses. That means it's ultimately easier to keep my "automatics" and repeaters in the box and just use singles. I used to use slip types for years, but the locking type make retrieval a lot simpler and safer if somebody gets a little too frisky or jumps up and runs away. My problem was that being a creature of habit, I only bought what my old supplier had, and they never offered a 1cc lock type syringe, so I just kept using the 1cc slips and got the locking types in 3 mil and up. Comparing the action of these to the Monoject and private label generics that I had been using is night and day.At first I thought they weren't sealing properly, 'cuz the draw down was so smooth and effortless, but that wasn't the case at all, they just have a very low amount of friction. At equilibrium, with a loaded syringe left standing on the bottle, no leakage whatsoever. Now I will say that for me and my big paws, the locking portion of the syringe does make it a bit more fiddly for me to get a hold and decouple it from my fill needle (the one ya leave in the bottle so you're not poking a new hole in the seal for every shot) but it's worth it for the surety of not having to sweat pushing a viscous fluid through a small gauge needle and having it blow off. I try to stay with the absolute smallest gauge needle possible to get the job done, especially with the youngins, so these allow me to do that without any worry or mess, and I'm sure the critters appreciate me punching smaller holes in them.Lastly, some of my customers are pretty rambunctious, so you've gotta act decisively to get'er done, and there have been times where that situation has led to small volume syringe plungers getting sticky, binding up and just folding over, and that's no fun, having to go back and try to stick 'em again. Another thing is that these really do give you much better feel and control over how smooth your delivery is. Just about every injectable has a specific feed rate that you should aim for, but when you're dealing with sticky or uneven pressure syringes you're usually just happy to get it in and done. So these are basically making it easier for me to be gentler with my animals, and that's always a win.Actually, I was so happy with their performance (and that 2 day Prime delivery) that I almost didn't realize that they're also less expensive, so other than somebody offering a longer hub needle for me to more easily get my big fat fingers on it, these have been about as close to.perfect as it gets. I'll be ordering the larger sizes now to see if they show as well as these, but so far, I've been tickled with these.

Cheap and works well enough
I don't really use Amazon anymore as much as possible and I feel weird writing an actual human-written review that isn't SEO hacking, but sure, why not.Like a bunch of other reviewers, I am a trans guy using these for testosterone injections. For that purpose, they are perfectly acceptable. Buying them here is cheaper and more convenient than filling a tiny prescription, and you'll most likely get something very close or identical to what you were prescribed. (Possibly better, if you're like me and your local pharmacy kept giving you 3ml syringes because they're out of 1ml.)The plunger is in fact a little 'sticky', and it's annoying. However, I haven't had it be a problem while the needle is actually in my thigh, which is the important part, so whatever.Added bonus: the syringe is narrow enough that it'll fit through the neck of a 2L soda bottle, which is handy if the last remaining pharmacy in your area stopped carrying sharps containers.

Much better than paying pharmacy prices.
These are a great value and seem to be good quality. I use them for T shots weekly and haven't had any issues with them. The luer lock is fantastic and super easy to twist on and off to change needles, and the plunger goes all the way to the tip making sure every bit of medicine gets used. I haven't had any leaking issues.

Great 1ml syringes for all purposes!
These syringes are great for TRT usage and probably anything else needed. No leakage, they are sterile, they glide well, easy to read the levels on the syringes, and the size is perfect for injections.

Excellent price, works... but a little difficult, confusing...
Excellent price, works... but can be difficult, confusing if you are used to official BD Luer Lock design. I say this for 2 reasons...The plunger has a long thin rubber center (more cone shaped) unlike BD which is almost flat with only a typical slight cone shaped plunger rubber. This causes two problems...First, it's unclear whether to measure dosage using the rubber tip or the first flat most part. I assume the flat most part but I've seen question/answers that are unclear where folks say tp use yip which seemms incorrect to me based on a test. I did a test with BD vs these BH Supplies 1mL syringes by fully filling one, emptying it to a small container, filling the other syringe from the container. I did this two times, once using BH Supplies to the thin plunger tip, a second time using the BH Supplies first flat-most part. It seems to match closest to 1mL when using the flat most part, not the tip of the BH Supplies plunger rubber. I use the flat most part for now. Regardless of this test of my own or what anyone says, it seems best to contact one's doctor and BH Supplies to clarify the correct approach to measuring dosage given the odd BH Supplies rubber plunger compared to typical BD almost flat rubber plunger. I feel BH Supplies should document this... did not find documentation in box or site. The other issue is when measuring from the flat most part, which I think (not sure) is the correct method. When doing that, the long rubber center plunger rubber gets in the way of the light making it difficult to see the liquid and the numbers. I must turn the syringe, maybe use my finger nail to hold and mark the target measurement number then turn the syringe to see the liquid. The normal BD syringes have typical low cone rubber so light is not blocked so easy to see both liquid, numbers, and rubber measuring line at once... not so with these 1mL BH Supplies syringes. So over all, great price, functional, but with design and documentation issues... at least for me coming from BD syringes. If money were no issue, I'd use BD in a heartbeat... but these BH Supplies syringes are very economically friendly which is a priority.

Happy with the product
Since the 3mL were no longer offered in the luer lock option, I ordered these 1mLs. I honestly like them better as they are smaller around, and they draw what I need quickly and easily. Plus, it's easier to swap the different gauge needles out.
