Q: Is there supposed to be a plastic wrapper around the box it comes in? I know there’s not peel protector under her lid. Makes me hesitant to use it.

I had the same issue. The box came with no peel protector under the lid, as well as no plastic wrapper around the box either.

There’s no animals fats in Cetaphil products.

I am sorry, could you clarify, as this doesn't seem to make a lot of sense for something being shipped, if manufacturer would checked reviews, they are receiving damaged boxes and jars that are not very well sealed and no indication that it couldn't have been used before, the state of the clay inside looks like some could have been taken out. The look of it on the inside could be due to something else, but no one can know. Another user stated that there was a seal under the lid of theirs.

Exactly what it's promoted as.

I like it more than you're normal mix it yourself bentonite aztec powder. It doesn't leave your skin dry.However, it looks small in amount once received but remember it's only supposed to be like 85g or something, so it's not supposed to be a lot anyway. It's still worth it just the tub doesn't look full.
