Perfect replacement
Odd reason my oil dipstick broke at the base of the pull ring, come to find out that's common with dodge challenger/charger/300 v6's. I wouldn't suggest to tap and drill the remaining plastic piece left in the tube. I attempt such a thing and the dipstick fell further into the tube. Just remove the 2 15mm bolts connecting a bracket from the alternator to the passenger side cyclinder head and one 10mm nut holding the air intake plenum. No the hard part, wasn't able to just pull out the tube from the oil pan, probably because it's winter, and living on the east coast metal is subject to corrosion which made removing the tube a project. I had to use medium size vise grips gently grip the base of the tube and light tap with a hammer it came out fine. Removed the broken dipstick, clean tube and then applied oil to the tube oring and reinserted back into the oil pan.

Good oem replacement and arrived straight
My oem dipstick broke off when trying to pull it out. This arrived in a long package and was straight. NOT rolled up like some reviews. Drilled a small hole and used a screw in the old dipstick. Then pulled it out using the claw on a hammer. Mine was really stuck and took a few pulls to get it to come out. I held the oem one up to the new replacement and it was a perfect match in length.

Perfect replacement - Same Color, Same Dimensions, Not Stamped with "Doorman" etc.
I was apprehensive about buying a replacement because I thought it might be an off shade of yellow, or have "Doorman" stamped on the handle, but it doesn't. It functions and looks just like it should. Then length matches perfectly. The only thing I'd suggest to improve the experience is that it was shipped in a shipping envelope with the dipstick rolled into a circle about 8 inches in diameter. If you want it to be straight, it takes some work to bend it back straight. Seems like it should be shipped perfectly straight and in a tube container.

fits perfect for a 3.5 engine
I bought it for my 05 dodge magnum 3.5 and it was the same size as the stock one, also fits on my 08 dodge charger 3.5

Slightly thinner maybe but improved design overall. Hopefully will not eventually snap off like the like the OE sticks did!
This is the third dipstick I have purchased for my dodge Magnum with a 3.5 L engine V6. The first two locked up in the dipstick tube and the end snapped off. I think anyone looking to purchase this product may already know this. It's a very common problem. It appears doorman has revised the product so that it does not or will not lock up like the original equipment so commonly do repeatedly . Bear in mind the original equipment is almost 3 times the price at your friendly dealer. And no the dealer does not deliver as well.

Does the trick!
Why these cars all don’t come with dip sticks I’ll never know, but this one worked great for a 2010 Chrysler 300!
