OGIOMidtown Women's Laptop/Tablet Messenger Bag

I've been using this bag for about a week now, and I am close to saying I love it. It is surprisingly easy on the shoulders considering there is no strap-guard (the kind that pads the the straps as it weighs down on you). The compartment for your laptop is nicely padded, and the insides all feel very smooth. The back pocket for your tablet is also perfectly lined; you won't feel anything hitting against your hip as you walk (I didn't put a tablet in the back, I placed my wallet there and didn't feel it digging into my hip when I walked or sat). It also has plenty of other pockets on the front of the flap (the two zippers you see in the image lead to two different pockets, one on the right being smaller than the one on the left).There are 2 problems with this bag. As another customer has mentioned already: you cannot overload this bag. This bag has no clasp, it closes by the sole power of two velcro patches on the bottom corners. If you over-stuff this bag, your bag will not close and the contents of your bag can come spilling out easily by just tipping over on the floor. I never overload my messengers (I'm lazy, why carry more when you can carry less?) so I don't have this problem, but it can be an issue.Finally, my biggest problem with this product is that the "compartments" on the left and right sides of this bag are not compartments at all. They are more like slits with a bit of wiggle room if you poke your fingers in. It's hard to put anything in there. My previous bag had extremely roomy compartments on the sides for things like a water bottle or an umbrella which this product doesn't seem to have. I guess you can put both the water bottle and an umbrella INTO the bag, but bottles can spill and umbrellas after use are wet. You wouldn't want that kind of mess within the interior of your comfy bag.For these reasons, this bag gets a 4/5.By the way, the lining within the interior are polka-dotted. This is true for most colors of this line of messenger bags (I know because I saw most of them in my university bookstore). The preview pictures on Amazon show no polka dots on the lining, but I'm pretty sure most of these OGIO bags have polka dots. Just a heads up for people buying this, if polka dots bother you.

I am a Nursing student, and it is a requirement to carry a laptop to class everyday. I was getting frustrated because I had a laptop bag, a backpack, a nursing supplies kit and a purse to carry everyday. This bag eliminated the hassle. I LOVE this bag. The color of the bag is a different hue from the photo but nothing worth complaining about. It's definitely trendy & feminine without being so prissy. There is even a little flair (polka dots) on the inside for those who like a little personality. It looks expensive like I paid twice the selling price for it. Pros: All of the hardware for the bag are well made and sturdy (straps, buckles, zippers & buttons). The laptop section is padded to prevent any damage to your computer. I have a 16 inch HP that fits nicely in the area. There is definitely room for a larger laptop as well. If your laptop is smaller, don't fret, there is a velcro strap that allows you to tighten (or expand for that matter) the space to fit your computer. The inside of the bag also has an area for a tablet. It is not padded, but the fabric for this pocket protects the tablet. The section that slides over the handle of your suitcase can be zipped to use as another pouch. Just don't forget that you have stuff in it if you decide to use this feature There are all kinds of pouches and zippers to hold things like lotion, flash drives, pens/pencils, sticky notes, cell phones, pill bottles, etc. There is also an area that wll hold two 2"(inch) binders. So that's your laptop, two binders & all your junk in one bag! Cons: There are only two egg sized velcro dots that hold the bag closed. Whenever your bag is full, you have some trouble keeping the bag closed. The side pouches do not have any velcro or zippers to keep the pockets closed. It was an easy fix for me though. I just picked up some velcro dots from my local craft store and voila! Seriously the only complaints are that they should've used more velcro...no biggie. Overall I absolutely love this bag!!!

very stylish and well made. Several details that are well thought out - for instance the pockets in the front are sewn in a way that one goes the entire length of the bag (you could fit a notebook in there) and the other runs half that length. Both are sewn inside the lining so there are no seems on the inside. Some things I wish it had: The side pockets have no give and it is difficult to slide most anything in there (2 packets on one side and one on the other - you can't fit any modern cell phone or even a set of keys if they have any bulk to them (think the chip keys or the remote starters) . There is no water bottle holder. The strap and handle are made of seatbelt "fabric" so not as stylish as the rest of the bad (admittedly a personal preference). I wish it would be sealed with something other than velcro - I feel like a 5 year old opening the bag in a meeting.Also just over two months in one of the buttons on the front has come off during normal use. Not a problem to sew back on but they should have lasted longer than 2 months.All in all, this is a great and mostly stylish bag. I get lots of compliments on it. I would recommend it, but it isn't perfect.

I've always been very pleased with OGIO bags. The messenger bag is roomy. Enough for 1. 5 inch binder. And a thick book. Also, fits my 15 inch laptop. The Velcro lock doesn't bother me at all. As long as I don't over pack, the bag closes.The order came on time. The only thing I was displeased about was the colour. I ordered a red Terra one. And the one that came was the greenish brown one.

Eigentlich tolle Tasche, sollte aber für einen Mann sein deswegen passt das bunte allover bunte neon Pünktchen Muster nicht. ;(

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dieser Tasche - ein guter Kauf zu einem angemessenen Preis. Sie ist bequem zu tragen, in leichtem aber robustem Material. Auch die Farbe ist toll. Gute Verarbeitung. Dank der durchdachten, praktische Fächer innen und aussen findet alles darin einen Platz.

This bag was worth every penny! I've had many compliments on it already! There is a compartment for everything, and it is so roomy, but also not heavy or bulky looking. I was actually able to put both of my lab tops inside without cramming them in, and I still had room for lots of other stuff!
