This si a good shower head made from quality materials. I have the lower flow version and like the water savings. I still get good pressure and cleaning. My favorite setting is the mister. My only small complaint so far is that there is a stray stream in the mister that cannot be corrected by cleaning. This could become a bigger problem in the future, but for now it is a minor annoyance. Still, for the cost, I would have liked to have seen better.

For many years I suffered with an inadequate low flow shower head. High quality, but it really sucked. I am on well water and bought this shower head with the 2.5 gpm flow rate. Easy to install and it works GREAT. The pump has no troubles keeping a good steady flow with the PSI set to on/off at 40 and 60. It is great with all three settings, but I like the steady flow best. You can't go wrong with this baby.

We’ve had this for a few months now and I’m still satisfied. It’s well made, I like that it’s easy to adjust the settings, although the fine misty spray is my favorite. A good soaking but doesn’t spay too hard. I wanted a simple, no hose shower head and I think this is a good one that was worth the money.

This shower head lived up to its reviews which were all excellent. It has three settings and that is just right to get the stream of water one needs. The first setting is like a firehose and comes out the center. This is good for rinsing shampoo out of thick hair. The second setting is a ring of orifices surrounding the center and gives a strong spray that would be good for getting off soap. The third setting is many small orifices that give a nice gentle and wide spray which is where I leave the setting. All other settings are off when one is in use. This shower head is well worth the money and is my preferred shower head in the house.

Was worried about switching shower heads, with all of the new heads having some sort of water flow restrictor that just ruins a shower experience. However, this unit has one of the highest flow rates allowed (thanks government meddling) and really works well within the limits. Easy to install (with plumbers tape). 3 settings of water flow, rain, direct, and mist. Typically, I am not a fan of the different settings, I just set it to the one I like and never change. This shower head has been different though. Each setting is significantly different from the others and each seems to have a useful purpose. The general rain fall setting is a nice all-around setting. The direct flow is more concentrated in fewer jets and has more force (good for rinsing shampoo out of hair). The mist setting is a nice, comfortable, relaxing setting. Mist setting needs the water temperature set higher to offset the cooling effect of misting, but it is gentle, with lots of 'jets', so good coverage. Think it may reduce the overall water use as well, but I have not confirmed that thought.

I had high expectations for this shower head, as it’s been the NYTimes/Wirecutter top recommendation for over 2 years now. We have two residences: A house with fantastic (if not overkill) water pressure, and an apartment with worse water pressure. This shower head takes on two completely different personalities. In the high water pressure house, it feels decent, like you can kinda tell it’s not a 90’s era torrential shower head, but you can easily stomach the compromise thanks to the water savings. But in our low water pressure apartment, it’s so underwhelming that we both laughed when we first turned it on. Water lazily dribbles out and you can see an arc as the water basically free-falls onto you when standing 2 feet away. We did some experiments, and saw that while the same 1.75gpm flows at each location, the difference is the aeration. With high water pressure, you can hear the shower head hiss, the streams coming out are milky white with air bubbles. But with low water pressure, the water dribbling out is simply clear with the occasional air bubble in the stream. The fancy aeration mechanism that is supposed to feel like extra water only seems to work if you have high water pressure. Apart from how lackluster the shower feels, we weren’t impressed with the overall build quality. It’s very prone to leaking from the valve unless you use a ton of teflon tape and tighten it really hard. The material is almost all plastic and after a few weeks of use the lever has worn down to dull plastic. This might be an okay shower head if you have really high water pressure and other low-flow heads feel like pins and needles — the aeration feature really helps to soften the streams. But if you have average to low water pressure, I don’t think you’ll be impressed at this price point, it feels like a compromise and there’s no hiding that it is a super water saving shower head. I personally recommend the High Sierra shower heads more. Even their 1.5gpm one feels more satisfying than this. And their 1.8 and 2.0 flow rates feel like showering under a fire hose.

My only issue is the description mentions the Pause function, which this showerhead does not have. Adjusting the angle is smooth but firm, exactly what we wanted. 3 modes are great, love the silky mist setting for warming up.

I am very happy with this shower head and all three variations of water strength work perfectly and I will be using all of them. I particularly like the gentle mist spa feel of the third setting. I can fully recommend this product.
