Flare fitting repair
This product works great when the unit flare on the lineset is scratched or not sealing properly. it provides a gasket to seal the tiny leaks. we have used it several times and always fixed the issue.

Saves Time and Money
A real timesaver! After trying half a dozen times to get the flare right my connection kept leaking. I grabbed these and it worked right away! They seem pricey for just a few gaskets but compared to the hours of time you save it is a bargain.

Worked for Me….
I installed a mini-split and found a leak where the line set connects to the indoor unit. As part of the fix I changed the entire line-set and then developed a leak at the outdoor unit. Even after multiple flare attempts and tightening the connections with a torque wrench I still had a slight leak (oil residue). After using the Flareseals I haven’t had a leak from the connections.

Overpriced but you need it
I don't know what's so special about these to be so expensive but they're probably the best idea to prevent disastrous leaks.

Great product
Would recommend using these as an added protector in your flare lines. I installed them on the lines to our mini split during installation (after the first time went south) these things saved me!

Leak Free means small leaks!
Bought these and installed in my DIY mini-split project, thinking it would be a perfect way to assure good seals in my line set connections. Unfortunately, I spent the next 3 months trying to find slow leaks in my system. After re-reading the negative reviews, I decided to remove all of the seals and reconnected the fitting2 using the tried and true method of Nylon Blue and traditional copper flare to brass, and like all the other disappointed reviewers discovered, I no longer have leaks. My advice is; DEFINITELY DO NOT USE THESE EXPENSIVE SEALS!

Did not work
Still experienced a leak after using this. Flare was perfect and straight but I’m guessing this was deformed which led to the leak.

Very satisfied!
I used these on the installation of a quad-zone Pioneer mini-split system and am 100% pleased with the results. I found them relatively easy to install. The ¼ inch seals were a little tricky to press into place on the flare cone, but with some coaxing, they worked just fine. I did have a little problem on some connections getting the flare nut thread started, but by simply checking and tweaking the alignment, they threaded on without issue. I did not use Nylog. I did not think it was necessary with the flare seals, but I imagine it would not hurt. So, I really have nothing to compare it to. Other than a single-zone mini-split which I installed a few years ago. I utilized the factory flares and did use Nylog on the connections. Have had no leaks. However, the relatively small additional cost of the flare seals was well worth it for me. I rented a nitrogen bottle and did a pressure + bubble test prior to evacuating the system. No issues whatsoever. The system is working fine. If I do install another mini-split, I will most likely install the flare seals.
