I liked his micro poetry way more than the longer ones
Khan is a poet I found by accident. I think I found him in the similar section while looking for poetry. And I was attracted to the book and I honestly thought the book was going to be a warmth cuddle type of book. It kind of is. Although, I will admit that his poetry has definitely improved a lot over time. I follow him on Tumblr. That's how I know. I liked his micro poetry way more than the longer ones. But I will admit that a lot of it is kind of sappy and lovey dovey and says the same thing over and over with different wording. But that was something I knew was going to happen anyway. And I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing because that is what writing is all about. That is what Decaf is all about, releasing all the love and lust to make art. And art is what makes humanity grow in various ways. I guess this one was the wrong place to start because I know that most of Khan's poetry isn't love and sugary Star Bucks coffee. And the only reason why I didn't give this a terrible rating is because that Khan writes love's searing heat in the smallest amounts of words and few people can do that without sounding too cliche or mentioning love too much. But I guess this was also a coming age book of sorts. I will read more of his stuff."Sometimes, I see you fussing over bits of loose thread, but I assure you that you're not falling apart. No, you see, the artist really can't be blamed to have been unable to complete perfection. The needle deemed you fine as is. And well, I couldn't agree more."Originally posted here: http://wordsnotesandfiction.blogspot.com/2015/06/mini-reviews-for-poetry-books-decaf-by.html

Stunning!
I've had this book for a little over five minutes and it's already amazing. Not so much a novel as a book of quotes, I can't believe how well this uthor uses words! I have found some quotes in here that will stick with me forever. The one titled 'Decay', while erie, was such an amazing use of words and emotion that I couldn't help but bookmark it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves quotes as much as I do. :)

I felt every word in each poem and page. I loved it! Thank you to the poet who shared his heart.
