My Frenchies love the smaller bed size. I always had larger pet beds that they shared, but one of my dogs is intimidated by the other now, so it was time to get them each their own. They sleep in a limited space in a gated tiled entryway, so I was concerned that 2 beds could not both fit side by side with them in it. They seemed to prefer another different small pet bed, more than the larger ones I had. So I measured their sleeping area and then checked the dimensions on the smaller size of these Amazon beds, and ordered. Well, my dogs run to them and love to squeeze in them like security blankets. They actually barely fit just right. See my attached pics for scale. My white Frenchie is 28lbs and girthy, and the brown one is 23lbs and more lean. After a couple weeks of constant use, it was time to wash the beds as they started smelling a bit like dog. I turned them inside-out to expose the more used inner fabric, and put them in my regular size home top-loading washer - one on each side of the agitator post for balance. I ran them on a long cold cycle with regular leading detergent pods with fabric softener, and then dried them in a standard sized front loading electric dryer on just a warm tumble-dry cycle. They came out clean and dry, but some of the dog hair was still stuck in the corners of the outside, so I turned them back right-side-out and ran them again on a quick low temp tumble cycle. The rest if the dog hair was gone. I inspected the beds after the wash and dry, and they were like new. Not a stitch out of place. No pills or frizz. No odor. Just puffy clean beds. The outside fabric is very durable, like a tough corduroy or soft canvas. The inner fabric is soft and doesn't shed. My dogs were super excited when I put their new beds back in place, and they jumped back in. They even dig in them like a nesting activity, and haven't even scratched them up. If/when these beds wear out, I'm replacing them with the exact same thing. I couldn't be any more pleased with price, durability, fitment, and a simple neutral look of these beds that goes in nearly any room decor.

I must have bought 10 dog beds to find one that my dogs like as much as one I got at an owlet store @ 3 years ago, and both dogs fight over, ignoring the other 10. They both love this one, and push each other out whenever possible. the inner lining is super soft off-white super-soft fake for, the bottom cushion is a reversible fake fur/pink polka dot plush. now the loser for this bed settles for the one they used to prefer. this is sized for my larger dog @ 62 lbs and all leg, but the smaller dog doesn't care that it's too big. the sidewall bolsters are soft, not firm, but that isn't a problem--they both lean against or on top of the bolsters. the smaller male dog doesn't mind it is pink with confetti dots, so I wish it also came in blue... Washed in cold water with Eucalan delicate wash and then dry in drier on medium and it is good as new. this was a home run purchase! I am guessing on durability, but it has withstood soon chewing and digging when each dog readjusts it to their preference which is more than most other beds did. I am reordering another.

I couldn't help but impulse buy this bed because of its cute confetti colors and the fact that it says Macaroon on it. It was perfect for our 10 year old pug. As you can see she loves it. She knew the minute it arrived at our doorstep that it was for her and not her sister, and proceeded to rub her flat lil face into the whole thing getting her delightful corn chip scent all over it. To understand the size ratio going on: our pug is very small and petite - 15.5 lbs - she's pretty active for her age and sadly compared to her pug friends doesn't get scraps which keeps her a lean little meanie machine. BUT based on reviews of what other pug parents said and measuring etc etc I went with the bed size M, but I could have easily gone for the S or even XS. As you can see she is significantly smaller than the bed. Now, does Charlotte care? Absolutely not. As far as she's concerned all beds - dog beds - should be Queen sized because she is after all, the queen of all things. Now, will she be sharing this with her lil sister, (our 52lb English bulldog)? No, that would in fact be an impossible squeeze, and the she queen will not be dethroned. So for now she will just continue to snuggle up in her oversized macaron day bed looking unbelievably cute in the pink confetti plushness. All in all lovely bed, do wish the little square insert- while I do like that you can take it out and flip it either way (for confetti side up or creme colored side up) - it is smaller than the actual shape of the bed - so it doesn't fit snuggly. Now, as the human mom what do I care I'm not the one sleeping in it, and again, the pug couldn't give a bone. Pug approved, Queen approved, 10/10, 5 paw stars.

I have always bought dog beds with the soft sides but they were always in brown or gray! When I saw this bed I was excited because it was in "girl" colors and I loved the confetti dots. It arrived today and I hardly had a chance to unfold and lay it out before Stella was on it and she has not moved since. I went by their size chart and instead of a medium (she is 55 lb Staffordshire Terrier), I bought larger and I'm glad I did. Now Stella can layout on any angle and soft bedding is underneath her (plus space for her 2 blankets, a toy and another pillow under her). Yeah! I didn't give it 5 stars because the sides of the bed are very 'floppy', unlike my last 2 beds which had overstuffed & very supportive sides. All-in-all, this is a great bed for my baby and I'll update in a few weeks.
