Woodriver Medium Thumb Guard - Adult Female

Great! I have a standard sized hand for a woman and these fit perfectly and protected my thumb. Works as promised!

I ordered this thumb guard, thinking the adult female size would fit fine. I don't know that my thumbs are all that big, but it's a tight fit. It borders on being uncomfortably tight. I may need to get it wet to stretch it out a bit. That said, the leather is nice and thick. It's thicker than the last thumb guard I got, and I used that one for probably 5 years before I carved through it. Seems like this one will last even longer.

This fit much better than is indicated in the photo. Fits tight, doesn't slip, the leather is soft and pliable, yet thick. Plus you get 2 of them! Yes, they are both thumb guards, but I thought based on the photo I might only get 1. I couldn't find a good thick thumb guard anyplace else.

These are terrific! The leather is soft and pliable enough that I can still feel and control the knife, while being thick and sturdy enough to protect me from many knicks and cuts. The elastic on the back (maybe sock material?) makes it snug enough to stay on securely and comfortably. I recommend these highly. Of course, I still manage to cut myself while carving, but NOT where I'm wearing the guards. I wear one on my thumb and one on my index finger. Thank you for making these to fit a woman's hand!

I absolutely love this thumb guard! It fits really well on my average-to-smaller sized hands. It stays in place without cutting into the skin and is very durable. The guard is so comfortable that I’ve actually forgotten to take it off on several occasions. It’s been a great purchase for my whittling.

Cannot even get little finger in it much less a thumb

Mine came unstitched after a few months. If it had stayed together it would be a nice item.
