Not your average RWS system- and I love it.
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the information in this book... it has a lot of information that most books do not. The cards are different in the sense that they do not really follow RWS but almost as if it’s their own system which I was able to easily read intuitively. I’m glad I bought the box set which included the book and the deck.A quick BUYER BEWARE- There are two listings. One for the deck. One for the set. I own over a 100 decks of tarot decks of tarot cards and most times if I’m able I do not get the set. Because of the size of the boxes and space obviously becoming a problem! But something told me to get the set and I am so glad I did. I love how this guide book is written. It’s different then the others that just tell the story of a card. It’s actually got a good wealth of information. And I really like that the cards are of their own system. Which may be a little confusing for beginners who are used to RWS. But I’m shocked I did not get this one sooner. The card stock is very good. I was surprised to hear people complain about it. The deck I got is definitely of higher quality then many others. They are not thin at all or flimsy. They have a nice gloss finish. But they shuffle really nicely unlike others that are too glossy and stick when shuffling, so they have that nice glide.I’ve been reading tarot almost 25 years and I am very happy I added this to my collection. It’s a beautiful deck with a book that I am actually reading. Unlike the others which I give a quick skim and that is it. The book that accompanies this kit is filled with so many things that most books do not at all even touch on. In fact some books I read about tarot do not have this much information. They explain the court cards in a way that many people take years to learn.I can say that although some cards are following RWS, not all but some- this could be a good deck for a beginner. Because of the book having the information it has. It’s definitely different but for me, it absolutely resonates. I’m very happy with this purchase, and most of all I’m pretty surprised at the quality of both the deck and the book. The book discusses the numbers, and if you get a reading with many cards of the same number. It even gets into journaling. (Ok well that’s something many books may have!)If you’ve been on the fence. As I was. Go for it. You may not be sure about the imagery at first, but you will get it. It all makes sense. Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran reader- the cards do make sense. And I like that it’s not the same imagery over and over again. Definitely different but in a good way in my opinion. This will be a deck I use in my active rotation. I’m glad I finally purchased it!! And the beautiful blue backs with the triple moon! Lovely. I didn’t take a ton of pics of the cards. But I did take a pic of the empress and the emperor.I absolutely love how they did those two cards. There’s always one card we usually don’t like lol and I have that one! But it certainly won’t stop me from using this deck! Highly recommended especially if you want something different.

Not pleased
I was expecting a book with my merchandise. I will be returning order.

Very nice deck and guidebook but perhaps not that simple for beginners!
I adore this deck! I don’t love every card in this deck. But hey! Perfection is satisfaction. And I’m satisfied with this deck. I bought the whole thing and that includes the cards and the book. I strongly recommend you to by the whole set, especially if you want to understand the Devil card of this deck. You may need more than luck to understand the image on this card. The vibe I get from this deck is light and friendly. Although, I don’t think it’s definitely simple for beginners. I must say though that the guidebook is awesome and helpful to me. Everybody is different. This deck and its guidebook are wonderful in my opinion.

NO BOOK
This is incorrectly labeled. It says "paperback" but you should know THERE IS NO BOOK. It is the cards in the tuck box with the LWB.

Love the deck, dislike the box.
I really like this deck, and will use it a bunch. I don't like that it's packaged in a box designed to hold the book. I would much prefer the box loose, and the deck in its own tuck box or other well-fitting box, as I find all the packaging clunky and not great for storing neatly. I'll get a pouch or something to put the deck in. I do love the artwork on the cards and find the cardstock to be of very good quality.

Buyer beware!
I was led to believe that this deck included the complete book written by Barbara Moore. I checked more than once before I spent $47 on the deck. When I received it, it was only the cards and the LWB in a small, flimsy tuck box. The cards are okay, but not high quality. Sad. I love Barbara Moore's writing and have almost all of her decks. This is disappointing.

You'll enjoy this
I love this deck. The only way I will buy a Tarot deck or an oracle deck is the artwork it has to pop out and it has to really resonate with me and this deck does. I've wanted it for a long long time. And now I have it in my collection

Spelling errors
The cards are beautiful, but there are TONS of spelling errors in the book. Super disappointing. I'm wondering if this is the legitimate product or just a knock off.

Great name for a deck
Silver Witchcraft Tarot is a great name for a deck. For me, it starts to tarnish rather quickly, though. (It turns out the deck is called Silver Witchcraft because it's got silver gilding. Presumably if they'd coloured the edges gold it would have been the Golden Witchcraft Tarot, or green the Green Witchcraft Tarot. Which actually might have been more interesting, and may have actually warmed the deck somewhat from its slightly frozen state.)Even though the deck is borderless and doesn't have multi-lingual titles, it does shout LoScarabeo from head to toe. The artwork is by Franco Rivolli, who seems to be a very prolific craftsman because he has done quite a few tarots.Pros:Colourful art work. It reminds me of the Radiant Rider Waite.Shiny silver edges.Suits have the elemental attributions I am accustomed to - Wands Fire, Cups Water, Swords Air, Pentacles Earth. There's at least a bit of action in the deck, things being blown about by the wind and so forth. The seasons of the year are depicted in the illustrations, somewhat.Traditional court cards are representedStrong earth-centric energy.Includes variety of ages, races and body types. No sexualised images. Most cards have at least a vague connection to traditional meanings.Elementals are represented (though they may also be a con!)The cards have a vibe.Cons:Images are slightly samey, consisting mostly of people in robes. The figures are fairly stiff and static. The pip cards do not have the correct number of pips. :(Cardstock is thick and shiny. (Some people love that)Some of the cards do not make sense without the book. But there are only a few cards like this. The little sylphs, gnomes, undines and salamanders are a bit too cutesy. All the cubes are a bit distracting.About the cubes: A friend who has the book told me that the cubes are meant to represent the 'material sphere', the 'intellectual sphere' and the 'divine sphere'. Which is great I suppose - but why are they cubes and not spheres? Ha haWheel of the Year:I've read online that the minors in this deck, 2-9, are meant to follow the Wheel of the Year. Apparently number 2 is Yule, and they run through the year to 9 as Samhain. This touch doesn't really add any value for me personally, and if I were to use this deck, I'm sure I would ignore that.Verdict:There is nothing wrong with this deck, but I can see that I won't be getting it out for reading and for myself I don't find the images visually arresting enough to keep the deck to look at. So it really deserves a better home where it can be appreciated and loved.

Probably not suitable for a novice reader
Cards are quite thin but good for shuffling. Liked the colours and images but found them quite hard to read as some of the cards don’t seem to relate to the traditional tarot cards, some don’t seem to marry with what the book says either. Knight swords image very small. There seem to be no cups in the chalices cards, no wands showed in the wands cards etc! Mine did not have silver edging mentioned in other reviews.

Good
Was surprised by the size. The deck is quite small but fits perfectly in the hand which is comfortable. I love the imagery of the cards which was the reason I bought them. Quality could be better though.

Perfect. My favourite deck.
Filled with imagery and symbols to give you plenty of hints to their meaning, this deck is fabulous! It has quickly become my favourite and my go-to deck for most readings these days. The cards are good quality and silver edged which just helps to bring a little extra feeling of special to them when you use them. They're of a nice size for shuffling. Perfect for starting out with intuitive readings rather than readings from a guide book.

Stunning Tarot Cards
These cards really are stunning. They have beautiful artwork and are made with sturdy card stock. They are silver gilded (which I love & borderless) and follow a strong Wiccan & Pagan theme. I will say the only downside is the suit of wands, there is no actual wands in the picture (or vey few) however they are amazing cards
