Bosch Professional Laser Measure GLM 50-22 (Range: up to 50m, Robust, IP65, ± 1.5 mm*, 2x AA Batteries, Hand Strap, Pouch)

This is very accurate laser measure, easy to use, robust features, solidly built, great functionality. Excellent battery life. Love it!

Feels very well made, the rubber over-mould is great in case it gets dropped. The display is clear and it responds quickly. Indoors the laser dot is easy to see at 50m, but at 52m it refuses to measure (obviously it's only rated to, and limited to, 50m to make you buy a more expensive model). The triangulation feature using the inclinometer is impressive and accurate (my older laser didn't have that). If you buy the Bosch USB rechargeable battery pack for it (which I did) be aware that it only has about 1/3 the capacity of a couple of regular Duracell batteries (I checked the mAh ratings) because the rechargeable cells are smaller than AA in order to fit inside the secondary casing that fits into the space of 2xAA cells. After reading reviews of poor battery life I thought I'd use the rechargeable pack to save batteries, but I don't because it's annoying to recharge halfway through a job when regular batteries seem to last so much longer. I would have bought the longer range model, but it looks less robust (not rubberised corners) so I opted for this one. But I rarely need to measure >50m.

Brilliant piece of kit.

It's better than the red beam, the green dot is easier to see even in relatively bright sunlight, but it's not much use outdoors in full sun. The measurements are very accurate, although I usually subtract 0.5mm to ensure no interference when fitting things into recesses. Battery life on the green version is also better than the red laser

I paid more for a Lecia Disto D110 which felt cheap and limited. It was so light, could only be used indoors, had a low-quality screen. I just wasn’t satisfied, so I returned it and purchased this Bosch laser measurer. The colour screen is nice and the device itself is accurate. I’m yet to go through all of the advanced features, but overall, and so far, I’m very satisfied with my purchase and I’m glad I took advantage of the Amazon spring sale.

How did I ever do without it! I’ve been replacing timber frames/joists/cables and plumbing pipe, working above an impossible tight under floor space, through strategic hatch's cut in the floor boards this measuring tool was perfect for this job, if you can get the green dot on it, hold it steady, touch the button, you have the measurements! Measuring long distances with so many things to tangle a tape on was to difficult. Can’t recommend this tool enough for my particular job. Typical Bosch quality, absolutely solid feel, l got the glass screen protector, as back up, drop it in the dirt, wash the whole unit under the tap, “waterproof version only” absolutely priceless!!!!!

I can’t stress enough how amazing this product is, if you are a professional then I think this is the best tool you can buy but I do RECOMMEND buying a rechargeable battery from Bosch directly it costs £39 but lasts very long instead of keep charging AA’S.

Technically this is accurate but in real-life practically useless without the extra expense of a tripod. Unless you have a wall to rest it on for measurement, it's impossible to hold steadily enough for a precise reading. The menu/function choices are confusing and complex to scroll through & engage.

Télémètre laser de très bonne qualité pour un usage professionnel. Simple d'utilisation, fiable, et précis. Le laser vert permet une portée plus importante et des mesures plus faciles en conditions difficiles, par exemple avec du soleil.

Gekocht voor de meet functie. gekozen voor de 50 meter om er altijd zeker van te zijn dat ik lengte genoeg heb. buiten kan 15 of 20 meter soms net te kort zijn. de waterpas functie is ook heel handig. De andere functies heb ik nog geen aandacht gegeven.
