Quality console.
I can't imagine going back to my half console. This console is great. It's definitely well put together and attaches well to the Jeep. The locking console is nice, especially for a jeep with it's top off. I am a huge fan of the cup holders too, 'cause I can put a regular old coffee cup in them and it doesn't spill at all.

Good product, horrible shipping.
Make sure you thoroughly check over your console when you get it. They just threw it in a box with some bubble wrap and hoped for the best. The packaging was an absolute joke and mine had several scuffs and small dents in it. It’s not worth trying to get it exchanged, but I am a little disappointed. Overall, it’s a pretty high-quality product and very secure.

Best choice for locking console
It’s easy to install, and it fit great. You might have to drill 2 holes through your floor, but you can seal them if you’re concerned about rust/moisture. You may also need to play with it a little to make sure it doesn’t rub on your parking brake or mess with your shifter. It’s easy, though. There’s plenty of room in it, and I like the larger cup holders. I found the arm rest to be at a great height, and it’s comfortable to rest my arm on when driving. You will lose the slightly larger coin cubby under your radio from the stock console, but that isn’t a tough thing to handle with all of the space you will gain, especially if you didn’t have a center console. There are some little things that you may need to work around, such as a bolt that is located in the front cup holder that will not let your cup sit level, and a couple more in the main compartment. I cut out some small pads from a shop mat fits in the cup holder and the bottom of the console that lays over them. It gives a flat surface and a little padding.

I drive a Jeep TJ and I love riding with the doors and top off as much as possible. After having over $300 dollars worth of stuff stolen from my jeep, including the stereo faceplate which was "locked" in the glove compartment, I decided that the price of this item is well worth it. I KNOW!!! IDIOT for leaving anything in a jeep with doors off but I love music while I drive. Well now I can. This console is very rugged and well made. The lid even makes an awesome and heavy duty sounding "clang" when you let it down and it latches ( if you get one of these you'll understand what I'm talking about ). No regrets on this BAD BOY!!

SO I HEARD THE QUALITY OF HARDWARE WAS GARBAGE…
I’ll get it installed, after I find bolts that actually fit. Come on guys,$500 and you can’t include some decent steel hardware? —See photo.—

Well made
The packaged arrived perfect from Amazon. Upon opening it, I discovered there were several deep scratches on it all the way to the bare metal. To make it look good will have to repaint it. Then the hardware they sent for install was very cheap and weak several of the screw heads broke off. I ended up using my own. It is well built but with the above mentioned I gave it 3 stars due to the fact for cost of the product thought they could have shipped it without the damage to it and the cheap hardware. I hope that is not a sign for the way it was made.

Great product, very strong construction and the fitment is great. I didn't give it 5 stars for two reasons, for one the instructions are confusing, the order of the steps was off as far as I was concerned. They tell you to drill the holes for the back section before attaching the front, like you should to line up the holes And also the price, I realize tuffy has a monopoly on locking center consoles for jeep TJ's but it was hard for me to justify spending this much

Good product, bad suppliers.
Vendor sent a used bent/scratch unit. It was ordered and as new. Took over 10 days to get it returned and a replacement sent.
