Brannock Device - useful in field anthropological research
Our experience using the Brannock Device to assess the feet of more than 400 participants in a field study indicates that shoe users have not paid attention to the fit of shoe construction to foot dimensions. Many choose shoes for long-term wear with smaller sizes than indicated by the Brannock Device. Using the Brannock Device without a specialist is not recommended, as it can only cause unnecessary misunderstandings.

I found out that I have been wearing the wrong size shoes. Apparently, your feet can grow as much as one full size a decade. I got the Euro size model because it can be used for men or women. Most shoe manufacturers have a conversion chart to show equivalent US sizing in Men's or Women's sizes.

The measurements are not correct, as an EU size 37 should correspond to 23.7 cm, while this product shows only 22.2 cm.
