Broccoli Sprout Extract 1000 mg 120 Capsules by Nova Nutritions

Looks to be a good product. It does have a pretty potent smell compared to another broccoli sprout supplement that I used to take, but hopefully that means it's more effective. Besides, I actually kind of dig the smell. The capsule sizes are a bit smaller too, which is good because I sometimes have trouble swallowing large ones. I'm actually trying this supplement for Crohn's disease. I had a complete remission a few years ago that lasted nearly a year, and Broccoli Sprout Extract was one supplement I was taking at the time. Whether it was what actually caused my remission is uncertain, as I was taking a lot of other supplements at the same time. My disease is back in full swing now though, so I figured Broccoli Sprouts were worth another try.

Honestly there isn't much of a reason as to Why I'm taking this supplement other than the WEALTH of information that is out there about the great benefits about Broccoli (and sprouts) regarding not only nutrition but also cell protection (think helping to minimize the likelihood of certain "C" diseases). However this is a supplement that you really kind of have to take on faith. Faith that it will help you in the long run. Because as of right now I feel NOTHING different. No more energy, nothing - i mean really. But I'm not really sure what I was supposed to feel while taking this. The manufacturer is very honest and they don't make any claims besides what the potential protection and benefits it can have. And it does smell like you're getting a Chockfull of broccoli in every dose (they capsules themselves smell like it). So I hope that in time I will really appreciate the benefits of this supplement.

One of the best supplements

I really like this product and it has helped with my stomach issues. I love the fact that it is a natural product with no need for harsh antibiotics! I do take more than the recommended 2 pills per day with no ill effects and the product does reduce acid like symptoms. I would recommend this to a friend.

After one day of taking just two capsules a day this product made me tired and lethargic. I stop for a few days and tried it again and the same results happened. I would not recommend this product based on my experiences. I would like to talk to the people who rated it five stars because it didn't work for me.

This product was suggested for reducing A1C in diabetics. We will see how it works. My husband is diabetic and recently his daily blood sugar numbers have been lower. Not sure if this product is the cause, but we will judge in a month or so. I don't recommend this for everyone.

I do not know what the results of this will be. There was a study by the University of Pittsburgh indicating that this may help squamous cell cancer of the head and neck so I have nothing to lose by taking this. The problem is that the capsules are just a little too big for me to swallow so I have to empty them out in applesauce or some juice and it is not very tasty. I do not believe there are any smaller capsules anywhere else though and the price it right. I would rather have 3 capsules a day that are a little smaller.

I give these to my son who has autism, to help him get some vitamin, and they also seem to help with concentration with him. The drawback? The smell! They smell bad to me, but to him? Yikes! I have to stand and make sure he takes it, otherwise, he throws them in the trash when I'm not looking... I ordered another brand before that did not have this odor, but this brand has a higher concentration of extract. So we will see what's what.
