Although the battery in the Proto X is not designed to be swapped out after every flight like many small quadcopters, with care, it *can* indeed be easily replaced when necessary. (no soldering required)Carefully pry the fragile tabs on the bottom of the Proto body and remove. You will find that the battery is stuck to the circuit board with double sticky tape. Carefully pry the battery from the board (use slow steady force to avoid breaking the board). Unplug the battery. The double sticky can be removed from the old battery for re-use, if necessary. Pre-bend the battery wire to match the old shape. Plug in the new battery and stick it to the board. Replace body and check the "trim" of the quadcopter. Yes, these will work for Atom 1.0 Micro Drone wireless quadrocopter but you have to have a soldering iron (and know how to solder) to put it in the quadrocopter. Since I have not been able to locate replacement batteries for this really fun mini-drone, I was glad they worked. Don't know how long they will last but the original battery that came with the drone would no longer take a charge after about 30 days. These have less amperes than the original one so last about 3 minutes instead of 5 minutes.

These totally hold a charge and the price is amazing compared to what you would get at a hobby shop. These batteries fit perfectly into those tiny RC helis.

These batteries were a perfect replacements for the Anki overdrive cars. Only took 15 minutes to replace and they give an extra 25% performance than the old batteries did.

These batteries barely hold half their rated capacity. As a test I did the following with my stock battery, and all of the Lectron batteries:- With each battery, run estes nano quad until its voltage cutoff makes the quad land- Wait a few minutes for batteries to cool down- Charge at 0.1 Amps (1C) on Hitec charger (high quality charger with display). The batteries generally started around ~3.6v.- My stock battery took 80~90 mAh, but all of the Lectrons took 40~50 mAh.The lower capacity is also very apparent in flight time, the Lectrons get 1~2 minutes less flight time than stock.

Product came just as described and brought a fresh life to my Estes Control Syncro. I can again fly around the office for about 5 minutes instead of the ~1 minute the old battery had been reduced to. Swapping out the battery was an easy process so it was really a plug and play solution.

I thought it woudl be a good idea to replace my old battery with a new one so I bought these. I was wrong they take twice as long to charge and last half as long as the old battery. I went back to my old battery pack. Only upside to this product is it works.
