Really recommend!
We recently bought a book “Kids Summer Academy by ArgoPrep – Grades 7-8”I like that there are a lot of interesting, varied tasks that a child will do with interest during the summer holidays, when there is no school. It is suitable for preparing for the new school year or for reinforcing material during the summer months. The manual provides extensive material covering the curriculum for students in grades 7-8.The simple and understandable structure of the lessons makes learning the material more accessible and convenient. The materials in the manual are well structured, which helps the student organize their learning processes.A variety of tasks and exercises are offered here, which contributes to a deeper mastery of the educational material. The presence of practical problems helps students apply their acquired knowledge in practice.

Summer Academy Book Review
My son liked this book a lot. Perfect to keep you engage with some work through the summer. The book has a number of different tests and exercises from literature to math. The only difference that it would make if it would be more colorful.

Grade level appropriately
It's not just busy work. The kids enjoy it and the exercises have real world value.

Disappointed
Son liked this book, but internet and computer is required to do assignments. So don't plan on taking on camping trips.

Great for the transition to 8th grade!!
Bought for my nephew for summer, he will be entering the 8th grade. He said he had forgotten a few things and this book helped him remember. It is broken down into days which is really cool. Gives them something to work on everyday.

Note: the book is white and black not colored
This doesn’t make is less helpful for summer review

Needs better subject organization
I got this for my son for the summer before 8th. He likes school, but I didn’t want the other boring summer workbook options, this one looked more fun (like a brain quest workbook but they end in 6th grade). I really wanted to like it and I knew it was in grayscale printed based on other reviews so I was prepared for that. The big issue I had is the organizing of subjects for the days. It has you doing a reading passage/language arts only the first two days of the week. Then day 3,4&5 a page and a half of math with some fitness exercises. Day 6 is an experiment. Day 7 logic puzzles are cool and he would enjoy. My second main issue is my son needs more science. Interesting material, not just an experiment. He also loves social studies so I already ordered a separate workbook for that ahead of time. The first few weeks they have you continuing to read one story, which it seems interesting about Greek Mythology but the second half of the 8 weeks of language arts lessons are the play that My Fair Lady is based on. My son wouldn’t be engaged in that play. For a kid who would only do a few days a week-I think it would work better. Reorganize the week to do some math and the language arts in one day. My son wants more so I’m looking for a better options than this and the other summer workbooks.
