Nespresso Citiz Automatic Pod coffee machine for Americano, Decaf, Espresso by Krups in Silver

Pixie arrived in quite a substantial box, it gave the impression the unit would be quite big. Upon opening the box the Pixie was smaller than the box gives you for an impression, however it was incredibly well packaged to protect the unit from damage, it is the perfect size for any kitchen. The design of the Pixie is a classic, a lovely forest green panel on each side, I am a big fan of the colour now I have it. The pod mechanism and the cup shelf are metal, this gives the unit a feeling of being well built. The pod mechanism is smooth and is somewhat satisfying to use, and gives a gratifying clunk as it engages with the pod. Water reservoir is a respectable size, it can easily make 4 or 5 "lungo" or long coffees, I have found myself circulate towards the long coffees as part of breakfast. However the Pixie is also capable of making a very respectable espresso. The machine heats up quickly and before I know it I have coffee ready to go. When you are finished the pods drop into a internal container and the drip tray also runs off into its own container below the pods, the whole thing can be removed in one for cleaning with minimal mess. The Pixie is a joy to use, quick, simple, and easy.

This is a nice neat, narrow, compact pod machine that I'm finding to be really reliable and easy to clean and use every day. I had an Opal One before and I find this comparable if you don't want to do lots of adjustments and are happy with factory settings. I get a nice crema, good temperature, consistent brew and it feels robust - for the price i think it's really good value and feels like it will last. Very happy!

Love this machine. It is a great size for our kitchen and delivers a perfect cup of coffee every time. I don't think it is too noisy. I do think the coffee is hot enough though if you do add a slug of milk make sure it is hot milk. The machine is easy to use. The drip tray is easy to take off and clean. The water holder is easy to take off (read the instructions as you have to lift the lid to remove it). We've had this a good few months now, it's used near daily and we haven't had any problems (so far touch wood).

The Nespresso Pixie machine is perfect for those who love to drink fresh ground coffee from the comfort of your own home! Its compact size is perfect if you have little worktop space or want to tidy away in a cupboard and use when needed! It would even be ideal in your office space! It takes about a minute to set up from out the box, simply unpack, rinse the water container, refill and pick your desired coffee capsule! I felt it was really useful that the Pixie machine can accommodate for all mug sizes, small cups/mugs sit on the drainage shelf and for larger mugs you simply flip up the shelf and your mug fits under with ease! How to make your coffee couldnt be simpler - there are two buttons to choose from - small cup or large cup (Nespresso Capsules also provide guidance for which size is best to use according to its type) once selected your coffee will pour! The only downside I found was that it is a little bit on the loud side however this is short lived as it pours at a good speed! Once your coffee has pour simply flip the capsule handle up and your old capsule will fall jnto a disposal cavity. Once the cavity is full you can pull this out with ease and dispose/recycle accordingly! I cannot believe how easy this machine really is and how lovely it looks in my kitchen! I would highly recommend this item and the coffee!

I've been eyeing up espresso coffee machines for a while now, but wasn't sure whether to bite the bullet or not. Safe to say I'm glad I did - this Nespresso Pixie has really upped my coffee game! I love a morning coffee but didn't love the faff of making it. I've been using the Pixie for a week now and it's made my morning coffee routine SO simple! The machine is really simple to use, it heats up quickly, and within 2 minutes you have a gorgeous espresso ready-to-go. Not only is it simpler and less messy, but I’ve found the quality of the coffee to be a lot better than my old manual brewing ways. I feel like I’m getting a fancy coffee shop coffee every day, but without the price tag! I really am converted. The machine itself is compact and fits well in a small space. I like the dark green panelling on the sides which adds to the premium look of the machine whilst keeping it simple and sleek. The only thing I’d change about the design is having a removable drip tray instead of one that flips up - as someone who likes a big mug I’d prefer to just take the tray off completely. If you’re an espresso or small-coffee drinker though, you won’t notice this. The water tank is surprisingly big which is great as it means you’re not constantly re-filling it. I recommend using filtered water in there for the best coffee. I was a bit worried about how noisy it would be but it’s been completely fine. The first couple of seconds are a little louder, then it settles into a chilled hum. Cheers Nespresso for adding a little bit of luxury to my mornings, I couldn’t live without it now!

Purchased as a replacement for my old Magimix machine that died on me. I was concerned it would not be up to the job but it is. It has taken me a week of using it everyday to get the perfect cup of coffee. I am not keen on the fact there isn't a separate on off button but again I have got used to it. The espresso button produces a very small amount of coffee, a lot less than previous machine. The large a lot more. You will have to practice to get it perfect for you. Good crema on the top every time. Doesn't leak any water anywhere ( seems to be standard in the old machines) Fits neatly on the kitchen top without taking up a stupid amount of space, looks ok. Cleaning seems fine. Pods don't get stuck very often. Warms up quickly, produces coffee quickly. Overall very happy with the purchase. I realise it isn't cheap but I feel it is worth the money if you are a coffee lover.

Machine is provided with type F schuko plug, not a UAE-compatible plug. While not a big issue, this should be clearly listed and it isn't. It should really be illegal to sell incompatible appliances in UAE without mentioning that fact.
