BEWARE the product picture doesn’t say it but it’s actually decaf. And they don’t allow returns so it was a waste of money.

I got the house blend. There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with it, it was actually very fresh. However, the flavor is not for me. I’d say this medium roast is absolutely on the lighter side of medium, and it left me feeling like the flavors were underdeveloped.I made it using an Aeropress and a pour over and both times I expected more from the flavor. It’s bright, but not acidic. But it also lacks any body or depth. Would be willing to try another of their varieties, but the house blend was disappointing.UPDATE: I decided to revisit this using a slightly finer grind and hotter water, as I'm usually more on the darker roast side. This revealed the body that I felt was missing. It's still a brighter tasting coffee than I'd normally opt for, but I'm happy to drink this made with an Aeropress and water around 205-210F

It's almost impossible to choose a good coffee bean online but somehow I got lucky and really liked this. Will buy again.

Coffee beans are stale! I have previously purchased coffee from Puerto Rico and the fresh roasted scent embraces you. This coffee could not have been freshly roasted. The beans were dry, packed any coffee bean oil luster. Product is not as described, beans are old and stale.

I've been buying this coffee for a little while now and have been generally happy with it but today I received a bag that was roasted 3 months ago. Unacceptable and I can't return it. I will no longer be buying Volcanica coffee and will just go to my local roaster.
