Annabelle's Big Hunk Candy Bar, 1.8-Ounce Bars (Pack of 24)

I was pleasantly surprised that a candy order from Amazon arrived in the peak of freshness, but that's what just occurred. I was worried about old stock & rancid nuts (been there done that on this site), but that was definitely not the case here. The product is either so fresh that it's still super soft, or maybe the recipe has changed since I was a kid. The taste is the same, it's just way softer than I remember which is mostly a good thing. You can throw it in the freezer if you like it a bit chewier. The only negative would be the new packaging. The coloring makes it look like the bars have been sitting out in the sun for weeks, fading the packaging. It's odd.

these are the best taffy bars around. I just wish they made them without the peanuts. Thankfully the nuts are super prevalent so I can break the bar and dig them out. the flavor is amazing and they're fully addicting. LOVE BIG HUNKS and they're not in any of my local grocery stores or mini marts so being able to order online is a huge help to feed my big hunk addiction

Big Hunk, Look, U-no, Abba Zabba and the various flavors of Rocky Road have seemingly always been around. I used to loosen teeth on Abba Zabba candy bars. Don't have many teeth left at this late age but at the time it was worth it. Buying by the box is great since not many stores have them or can keep them stocked for long. Enjoy!

One of my old school candies I enjoyed in my youth. Hard to find over the counter. Teeth are still up to it. Brings back memories. Taste the same with the nuts and all.

Tasted just like they did back in my youth. Nice and chewy taffy. So happy to be able to find these on Amazon. Can only find these in gas stations out westas they aren't sold here in the midwest.

What I disliked was that I was charged shipping. Thought I was a prime member and I ordered through Amazon. So why was I charged shipping?????

I grew up on this nougat bar and it is as delicious today as it was years ago. The package was a little smashed but I am not putting the packaging on display so that does not matter to me. The bars themselves were not damaged. The shipping took only a few days so yes try this and enjoy the wonderful taste and texture of a sweet part of history and hats off to the seller.
