Max Factor Pan-Cake Makeup, Tan No. 1-1.7 oz

it is the best, my mother who was a Vogue model and 89 years old is still using it...I am 57 and been wearing it since I was 16..I have tried other foundations to no avail. This gives the best coverage and looks great. Too bad it is becoming so hard to find and so expensive...don't know what to use as a foundation...anything out there similar...suggestions please??

I hate to write a bad review, but for the money i spent for this ($250.00), it was more than a disappointment. Although the make-up appeared unused, it was old and dry and even with a very wet sponge, could barely transfer any to my face. I saved it for a family trip home and ended up having to buy some cheap Cover girl foundation because this was worthless. I had used Max Factor pancake makeup many years ago and loved it. What a waste.

In my whole life, there's never been a makeup like Max Factor Pan-cake! My Mother used it for a "flawless complexion" look, and I followed suit. Throughout my modeling days, and my acting, and singing days, there was never anything to parallel this makeup for quality. It goes on with a water-moistened sponge, and spreads beautifully to give fantastic coverage, and glorious skin tone. Just washing your face removes it easily. Once you've used this product, you're hooked, like me, for life! I would recommend this fabulous makeup for any age group, and if you have stage or modeling work, you'll rely upon it as the best tool In your makeup box!

Excellent product. I have used it for years. I'm happy I can get this great makeup on Amazon. It has flawless coverage. It is water based so no need to worry about an unattractive oily finish. I love it. Thanks Max Factor.

"Amazon to the Rescue!" Pan-cake makeup has been a "staple" in my home for close to 60 years. Since Max Factor's Pan-Cake was first introduced it has always been my favorite. People often comment on how nice my skin is, (for an old lady), and I'm sure it's because of this make-up. When I heard that it was no longer available in my local stores I got this horrible sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. You know the one I mean!!! Then, as usual, Amazon came to my rescue. I love you "Amazon"! So far I've only purchased one of them. Now my big decision...should I get a couple more just to be on the safe side? What do you think?

I have used this makeup for a long, long time and I usually paid less than $15.00 for it. I know Max Factor is no longer making it , but wish I could find something similar that is not so expensive. The makeup arrived at my home quickly and in good condition so I am pleased about everything except the price.

I have been using Max Factor Pan-Cake Makeup for over 30 years now and I still love it. As an actress on stage,and in front of the camera, I have found that no other makeup gives me such complete coverage. I just filmed a movie where I had to swim back and forth in a swimming pool and then had to get out to do a scene with another charactor. No one could believe that my makeup stayed on perfectly!I love the smooth, soft, natural look I get with Max Factor in my every day life, also!

I've used this for over $40+ years and remember paying $7.00 each. I always used Tan #1 and then went to Medium Beige, which is True Beige. I am appalled that Max Factor was bought out from P&G (*i used to work for P&G until my merchandising job was discontinued). I searched everywhere and cannot find my beloved True Beige Pancake. I REFUSE to pay Hundreds of $$;s for this, and sellers here are taking avantage (Horrible) of us seniors who have found nothing comparable. I HATE liquid make-ups they are selling now. Talk about settling in your face wrinkles, making it WORSE. I'm 72 and have beautiful skin, but notice the wrinkles around my eyes using this awful liquid make-ups. I won't do it!!! If I don't find PANCAKE somewhere less than $200 which is what they're asking now on Amazon; I won't wear make up. Makes me so disgusted about this. :-( Q=Why can't Amazon do some research and find the Pancake makeup?
