STAR BRITE Refill No Damp Dehumidifier 12 OZ. (085400)

Updated review to say I have repurchased another No Damp, & will be adding to Subscribe & Save. We live in a fairly dry climate most of the year, so we do not need a dehumidifier, quite the opposite. This works wonderfully for what it is intended for. I added a photo to show the amount it filled before needing to be replaced, the back crystals become rock hard, that’s when you know the filtering is done. This took about 7 weeks, with showers twice a day, as long as 25min. The door to our water closet/shower area stays closed with a fan running while being occupied but we still accumulate humidity in our washroom/closet area. Purchased this for our clothes closet which is off of our primary bathroom, with no door leading to it. It did not smell musty, but I know that the bathroom fan in our shower area is not the most efficient. I hung it on the rod in our closet & within a couple days, I saw that the No Damp was fast at work removing moisture from the air. One thing to note is that I wish the hanging device was a little wider, bc my normal sized clothing rod was a tight fit. I also do not notice any artificial smells coming from my clothes or the closet itself, even though when on opening, the No Damp did have its own “fresh” scent.

Bought this for winter storage of my boat to prevent moisture and mold on my vinyl seats. Every spring had me scrubbing the vinyl, the stuff worked great I use it every year now.

Same product marine dealers will place in your boat during winterizing. These are a bit expensive, but work well. The bags will always be quite full of water in the spring when we open up the boat. Excellent for covered, but outdoor winter storage and to help avoid mold issues in the spring.

This works great at pulling the moisture. I first got for vacation in the tropics and it worked so great I got one for my basement at home. Who would have thought there was so much moisture floating around my home. I now have one coming monthly and can’t wait to see how it handles the sweaty windows over the winter.

Did what it was supposed to do. Tucked the moisture out of the air of camper.

The tub easily slides around a vehicle and tumps over, spilling out tons of the little moisture absorbing crystals. Which, are such a pain to clean up. I would think it would be easy enough to design a top (lid) that has plenty of air ventilation, yet slots and holes SMALLER than the granuels. If I'm not mistaken, some other big brands are designed this way. Anywho - that's my main beef with the design, I can't speak to the efficacy of the product yet - my mold / mildew smell apparently isn't the result of vehicle in the moisture - but rather mold inside the A/C evaporator unit.

Works great anywhere there is moisture you want to extract. My car had water leak in during a storm and we had to have the water extracted from the carpets. I placed several of these around in the car and it actually filled the bags up with water in the air inside the car and helped extracting moisture everywhere in the car. I keep one in car all the time now and continues to gather a bit of water here and there when its humid outside
