Beautiful Scope. Great magnification
Bought the scope for ALAPPUZHA District Rifle Club 50 meter Shooting Range to check the target after shooting. You can read the MRP on a Cement Bag at 40 meters. The build quality is superb. Magnification is enough to see clearly to 300 meters. Scope has no mini tripod, this has to be bought separately. The eye piece comes in a separate box: just screw it in. There is a tripod attachment, which makes fixing the scope easy, on to any standard tripod. Adjust the eye piece for magnification and a separate small dial on top for focusing. You will get crisp crystal clear view. Amazing buy. Just loved it. Came packed securely inside its own cover.

I'm really pleased with this purchased equipment. Gross cost with S&H was $230. It has wowed expert and fanatical "Gonzo" Colorado birdwatchers who are using scopes costing $2000 to $3500. Nothing but compliments and highly favorable comments from folks with discerning optical tastes. I'm not an optical expert but; I can't find anything to complain about, so far. Perhaps a year from now after extensive field use I'll learn of small flaws and deficient effects. If I do I intend to update this review. It is rugged enough for frequent field use on trails and wet weather. Does not fog up. It's a bit heavy at 4.5 lbs. due to the 100 mm objective lens. However, that lens is still bright and sharp at full 67x magnification even in twilight or predawn light. Resolution and sharpness even at very long range are excellent. Quick & easy to focus or change magnification. [One person told, "I think I paid $3000 more to get 10% to 15% better image quality. And I have to baby mine!"] Seems solidly built and overall fit, finish and workmanship seem more than satisfactory. If you're on a tight budget, think seriously about Celestron products.

I was pleasantly surprised with this telescope. It's from a budget brand so I didn't expect much. I set it up on a tripod at the seaside and was watching boats and whales closer than I had ever seen them. We could see people waking on the decks of a Cruiseship 15km away. I set it up at night and the resolution was clear enough that I saw the moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn even though they were small. That was a pleasant surprise. There is one glaring issue that took away one star in the review. When I set it up indoors and tried to use it through a window (single pane) I got a double image. I had the same issue with another Celestron telescope I own as well. As long as the window is open or you are outside the telescope is awesome.
