Paired Instantly
This was a purchase to augment the Smart Controller, because the Smart Controller cannot use third party applications like Drone Deploy. I need Drone Deploy for work flights.

Doesn't work
The controller I received does not work. I tried to connect it to DJI GO4 app, but I just get a message that says it cannot be used with the app. I was able to connect it to my laptop and upgrade the firmware to the latest version, still no luck. I needed a new controller to replace my original unit, which stopped working on me, again, so I wanted to have a backup while DJI fixed it. No luck. I'm trying to work with the seller to find a solution / get my money back / whatever. I bought this through RotorLogic US, but Amazon had me send a help message to HuanYe. Amazon told me the unit was not returnable, but on RotorLogic's page for the unit it says it is. Hopefully I can get a replacement unit that actually works, or get my money back. I'm sure in the end Amazon will help me with this one way or another.

Bad pricing model
I was about to purchase and then boom they changed the price from roughly 250 to 400

No local warranty service.
My DJI controllers USB port fails to connect after 2 months use. They have no local warranty service, everything has to be mailed to China and that's a long time consuming process. Customer service offered me 25 dollars worth of propellers. Extremely disappointed in DJI’s controller for the money I spent.
