I purchased these and put 1 into use in an outdoor candle holder, the others I saved in the original box with my emergency kit. Recently took 2 out to charge in the sun and after 2 full days, they still did not turn on. Tried 2 more and the same thing happened. Very disappointed with this purchase. They are useless to me, and I will be looking for a different option. They should not be listed as emergency lights, camping, as those items are not frequently used, or should come with an expiration date if that is the case.

These candles are amazing! They are slightly bigger than a normal tea candle but I actually like them better. The customer service went over and beyond my expectations. I don’t write reviews much, but I love the way these make my patio look! I put some inside some lanterns I had and even though the glass is frosted, they still get enough light through the day to hold a long charge through the evening.

Updating my review because these work quite well and look really nice. I had to remove the glass voltive holders from the lanterns I purchased these for due to the size but I am enjoying them. I added a daytime picture to show how they look in the holders I purchased from world market. I will add a nightime photo when I get a chance. These are too large for standard votive tea light candle holders. Also my package came covered in ants. Seriously the box was soo full of ants you would think I ordered ants. I just got these so I will post back once I have used them for a while.

I ordered the 6-pack. One of them never worked at all. Over the past month, two others have stopped working. So, less than two months after purchase, only half of the pack works. When then do work, the flame is very, very dim. In addition to this, they are very cheaply made. I think I could break them just squeezing them in my hand. Save your money.

This is a nice product however, 2 of the 6 dont't work and i really dont want to send them all back since i need them for a party in a few days. Also, I opened the bottom thinking that maybe just the batteries needed changed and I was surprised to find that the batteries are wired into the candles and can not be replaced. That is NOT what the description said.Now I am stuck with 2 that dont work...

Put these in a lantern type holder and placed in flower garden. So beautiful at night to watch the flickering lights! Looks so real!

. I’m very happy with the way they operate! I have s couple small lantern enclosures that had built-in LED “candles” but a couple will not charge or work any longer. I’ve removed these “candles” and placed your Solar Tea Lights in side and they work GREAT!. They have no problem charging and they are the perfect illumination at night!

I ordered three sets of six of these solar tea lights. There was no issue with the seller as the shipping was quick and the package durable, the tea lights in perfect condition, but the tea lights themselves are a mixed bag. Unfortunately there is no uniformity to how well they work. Some of the lights stay on quite a while and charge well, some do not (all have been tested charging outside next to one another out in the open in the daylight, so the only variance is the inch and a half apart they were to the next candle over). I'd perhaps chalk this up to a bad batch, but there were three separate batches and I doubt they were sequential when they were made at the factory. Some of the lights have to be flicked off then on to start charging again, but some will just turn back off even when light is directed at them. The lights do charge under artificial light as well as natural light, which is nice. The actual strength of the lights are best for indoor decor of out in the open in outdoor decor. Having them in outdoor lantern type housing they were not a strong enough light source, and the solar panels were not strong enough to gain the best charge in the housing. They are not as strong as generic battery powered tea lights of similar size that I purchased years back. Unfortunately I've noticed that some of the lights that worked very well a few weeks back do not work well now. One of the tea lights was kept in a spot outdoors where it would get the most sunlight it can and worked well into the night hours, but in the past few weeks it barely stays on even while some of its' brother tea lights still work fine in less optimal light absorption conditions. As mentioned previously, there's no uniformity to how well they work not among the group or within the working conditions of a single light. I can only speak for my own experiences with these lights, but I'd personally not recommend these lights.
