We recently added a porch to our old 1980's house and needed gutters but I wanted an alternative to putting a gutter downspout on the wood beam which would destroy the beauty of my new porch. These copper rain chains are perfect for and enhanced the beauty of my porch. Like a little "bling" for my house.

They aren't gutters but they look awesome and do the job for three seasons here in the northeast. This is our second set of rain chains. They are a little out of their element in the winter. If we get a freeze the water turns to ice and the weight sometimes causes the rain chains to fall under all the weight.

We purchased the rain chain to keep rain splatter from hitting the porch. The rain chain controls the water from falling full force against the pavement.

These have held up so well and really look great. Easy to install and adjust so the water falls nicely.
