Works great
Got these to help my mom not kill her plants and diagnose why they are not flourishing. Makes it super easy to know what your plants do and don’t need. These despite seeming cheap have held up very well, easy to clean off and haven’t had any sort of corrosion or rust issues.

These probe-based units are all garbage
I bought his Kensizer unit in 2022 as my backyard floods when it rains and is generally pretty wet. I have tons of moss growing. If you google that problem they say wet and highly acidic soil is bad for turf, good for moss. Since I can't fix the fact that my backyard is the lowest spot in the neighborhood, I'm trying to control for PH. So i bought this tester that said my entire back yard was heavily acidic. I lay down heavy amounts of lime. Rinse and repeat. This green tester kept reading max acid levels even after many bags of lime over time. And the moss kept spreading. I bought this other meter by AiGerdinn from Amazon in Mar'24:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CSFLZJ6B/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1, which is the white one shown in the images. It shows my backyard Ph is normal (!?). In the first image, AiGerdinn reads Ph:5, Kenzier says 9 (worst acid level). In the 2nd, AiGerdinn read Ph 6, Kenzier: 1. In the 3rd, AiGerdinn: 6, Kensizer: 1My conclusion is that none of these probe-based soil testers work. I'm going to try a paper-test kit next.Update: April1'24: I bought and tried the Dewilde soil test paper strips and as suspected, all the lime I put down resulted in an Alkaline score of 9.0, i.e. no acidity. Now that I've looked at a few of these, it seems the Kensizer dual probe (green one) has the "Acid" label on the wrong side of their meter. And the AiGerdinn (single probe) just doesn't work - it's always in the middle of the scale so not detecting pH variations hardly at all.

Excellent device!
Excellent device! My 3-year old is capable of using this, so don't be wary! Easy instruction and use - - very helpful. I sent some earth samples before using this product - to the Extension Svce. at the state university - Never got a reply. So, I purchased this, and did just fine with the results.

Don't last long
They were good while they worked but felt a bit cheap. One stopped working after a few months which is when I really needed them to work. I will not buy again and am looking into a better one I hope.
