RICE DREAM Classic Original Organic Rice Drink, 32 fl. oz.

First off, it's the best milk substitute I've found if you have allergies that might cause problems with other milk substitutes. I can't have almonds and soy due to allergies, but I'm also lactose intolerant. This stuff is called Rice Dream for a reason -- it's a dream. It's not good on it's own, but it works great in cereal and a lot of recipes. I also found that it's really easy to get more bang for your buck. If you fill it the rest of the way with water when it's halfway empty, it still tastes fine. Any more than that, though, and... yeah. Don't do that. It's shelf life is amazing. It stores great. Once you open it, you do have to use it, but until you open it... well, you can store at room temperature for months.

not the original Rice Dream we know and love - I was snookered by the pic of the original, hence the 3 stars! The ingredients have been downgraded and so has the flavor!

This is a great product. I just want Amazon to know that they need to stop shipping it in a plastic bag because the boxes come so damaged that they won’t stand upright.
