The diagrams are large enough to see, and the tutorials are easy to follow along. In the "Frequently bought together" the recommendation is Autodesk Maya 2019: A Comprehensive Guide by Prof. Sham Tickoo, which is very helpful for improving your skills in Autodesk Maya. The diagrams aren't large enough to see in this book, but does have excellent projects. Both books are already helpful for my graduate class, and it's only Week 3 at Harvard. I too recommend both books for an enjoyable experience in 3D animation using Autodesk Maya. Review: Super Useful - It's good. I have had a hard time with Maya, but this book really does help. Thank you.

Excellent Book for Understanding the Basics
Autodesk Maya 2019 Basics Guide is an excellent beginner's book to become familiar with the Maya Interface. The diagrams are large enough to see, and the tutorials are easy to follow along. Super Useful
It's good. I have had a hard time with Maya, but this book really does help. Thank you.

Not a step by step guide
This book has a lot of facts, but it's really not a good one for the classroom. It goes from 0-60 in a chapter and seems to be a desktop refresher for seasoned pros.
