This nail polish is wonderful. The thing I love most about this polish is the lack of chemicals which reduces the smell by A LOT! Someone first recommended this brand to me when I was pregnant since you should not inhale those chemicals while trying to create the perfect environment for an infant to grow healthy. I did not purchase it because I just decided I would not paint my nails, or if I wanted to, I would go outside where there is lots of fresh air. I ignored the recommendation… I now have a young daughter, and no time to spend on doing my nails…especially to go outside and do them. I was searching for some quick drying polish when I came across this brand again. I remembered the recommendation from before and started to look in to this brand. They have a good value statement and purpose. They want the beauty products to have the quality, without the harsh chemicals or testing on animals. I read some reviews that said this was quick drying, doesn’t have the harsh smell, and looks great. I decided to give it a go. I also want my daughter to be able to have her nails painted (who puts her hands in her mouth all the time) and know she wasn’t going to be sticking chemicals in her mouth. I got my kit, which came with 10 colors! I love all the colors! They look great in the package and came with a little booklet about the company. I was very pleased before even putting on the polish. I tried every color, one on each nail, right away so I could know what the polish is all about. I was super impressed about the quality and how quickly it dried. It still smells like nail polish…although not nearly as strong and won’t leave you with that gross headache/lightheadedness. I did notice that you definitely need two coats at least with the colors, otherwise they look streaky. Not a problem though, as like I said, it dries very quickly. Also, removing the polish did not go so well. I know they also sell a polish remover, that might work better than my cheap polish remover that I got from a drugstore for probably a dollar...I removed a few of the lighter colors with ease, but the dark colors, and the reds especially kind of dye the skin around the nail and the nail. I had to remove the polish, scrub my hands with soapy water, and then use the polish remover again. Not a big deal, but can be a little frustrating. Overall, I am very satisfied. We bought this for our daughter who’s almost 2 (to use on her, not for her to play with obviously) and we love it! It smells like regular nail polish, I thought it’d have less of a strong smell. The color choices are great and my daughter loves picking a color out. Some colors are more coverage than others. The purple only needs one coat and it looks great, the green and pink sparkly one need a lot of coats. I got to three coats of green and it still wasn’t fully coated. Long-lasting, easy to remove, and cute box to store in. The brush applicator is weak. I would rather it be stiff, so it can be annoying to paint with because it bends (the bristle part) without hardly pressure. Will buy again!

I have been on the hunt for a gel polish replacement and had such high hopes for this set! The colors really are beautiful, but they don't last. They also do not smell good, and the smell lingers for several hours. Some of the darker colors go on ok and look really pretty for about a day, but within 24 hours they are chipping off in big chunks. Some of the lighter colors, like yellow and green, take 3 or more coats to not be streaky and see-through. I tried several times with different colors and even used the base coat recommended by the brand as well as their top coat and another brand's top coat (because I didn't like how matte their topcoat ended up.) No matter what I tried, I couldn't get these to last and work well, and since these are not a returnable item, I'm just out all that money. I'm so bummed! These would be a fine set for a little girl to play with if they weren't so expensive, but they are definitely not a long-lasting manicure option.

Love ella+mila for their organic ingredients and the colors I previously purchased. Did not realize how small the bottles were, old applicators not the new ones & only liked a few of these colors and will re-gift to our granddaughters for Christmas. Would highly recommend, just make sure to check description for size & double check the colors. Overall for the price & colors, I would not have purchased them.
