Powerful, has capacity to make noise
Powerful fan and easy install. The Hurricane I purchased was the 18" white fan. Initially I was going to return it (bigger than what I really needed), however, the seller reached out to me and offered an option. I'm really glad I kept it. I live in north central Florida in a small trailer and even in November and December I've found it still to be too warm inside to not have circulation going. Normally, I would just open the windows, unfortunately... original windows of this trailer that cannot be opened because of age. There are three setting options: low, medium and high. Personally, at night, I like to keep it on "medium". It also has strings (cords) to turn the wall-mounted fan on and off plus with the oscillation. This is a well built fan, except, in this department (strings) I believe they could have done so much better. I don't use the strings because I'm afraid they will snap right off. This one did not come with a remote control, it's okay... I'm from the day where you had to actually get up to change the channel. Some people have said it's super quiet - maybe they work in a factory or have a different type of fan, it's NOT quiet. In my opinion, it's not super loud either. I happen to like my fans to make a certain amount of noise, it's what helps me to sleep or relax (ya know, "white noise" so I don't have to hear my husband nag at me about how I've spent money I don't need to spend). Last thing, I have no idea how long this will last. As we all know, most corporations/manufacturers (CEO) are in the business to drain all of our money out of our bank account so they can grow fat and lazy off our hard earned money and they make sure that things we purchase today will not last very long. That being said, I'm hoping I will get at least a year or two out of this item. Would I buy it again at this point, sure would, works for the purpose I need it. Talk to me several months later and we'll see if it's still working.

Honest review
This is the 3rd one I've purchased over the last 6 years. Good quality, although we seem to get about 2 years out of each one. (Granted it's usually on 23 hours a day everyday.) Construction is solid for the price point, moves a ton of air. The oscillating feature hits almost out entire living area. This fan is quiet as well. Mounting bracket is 3 screws and easy to hook into the fan base. I would however use better anchors then the ones provided. Overall a great buy for the price point.

Fan is good, mounting hardware is questionable.
Fan is fine. Moves a lot of air and comes with good control options for a wall mounted fan. Mounting hardware is pretty much junk. The mount is a gravity-style bracket where the fanhooks onto a wall bracket, and two small stabilizer feet on the fan rest against the wall to keep it steady. Simple to install, I suppose, but very cheap. Not the steadiest. And if you were thinking of trying to use this on the ceiling, forget it. The drywall anchors are very cheap material, as is the actual fan blade. The anchors were destroyed almost immediately upon like the 3rd tap with the hammer. Luckily I had other ones of better quality available. The fan blade works suprisingly well, so I guess that's fine, but it's seriously almost like soda bottle material.

Quiet, Affordable, & Works Great!
Purchased this fan to use above our pellet stove to help move heat into other rooms. It functions very well and is much quieter than our old one. It oscillates, but we don't use that feature. We shortened the strings for the controls because they were very long. Which is great, as it allows you to decide how long you need them. Very easy to install. Just screw the bracket to the wall and attach the fan with a bracket already attached by sliding it onto the wall bracket. The only thing that would make this better is if the power cord came out of the bottom of the unit rather than the top. Having it at the top makes it harder to keep it away from the stove. So, we are going to use cable ties to keep it close to the wall. The 18" diameter and different fan settings really helps push warm air to other parts of the house. It's also very affordable compared to other similar units. I would definitely purchase this fan again.

Amazing fan...a must have!
I have had this fan for over a year now and it is amazing. I love this fan for several reasons 1) I have limited space so the design aspect of it hanging on my wall is awesome. 2) it kicks out some nice cold air, I normally have my setting on 1 (the lowest) and its sufficient. 3) it was easy install. I don't have lights in my ceiling and I am a person who cannot sleep without a fan for air circulation and I love it cold! I got this for my son first and he loves it. I was so impressed with it i decided I needed to upgrade from the floor fan I had because it just wasn't kicking out the air I needed. I love how I can place it higher on my wall to make it feel like a ceiling fan. Honestly I think it works better than a ceiling fan. The only thing I miss between this and a ceiling fan is being able to hit the switch to change the direction of the fan for winter time but I found a solution. I just move the fan so it doesn't face directly on me but circulates the air around me. I would recommend this fan to everyone! Well worth the money, it's a great space saver and works amazing.

Fantastic Fan
So easy to use. Just pull the string! I have it in my garage and can point it to wherever I want by stopping the oscillation at that point, or have it cover the entire garage. Powerful and quiet. A++.

Really? Did you use an IMPACT WRENCH to put on the fan nut?
What a disappointment. Oh my God! After spending literally hours selecting the right spot measuring mounting and and putting the rear cover on, the fan blade and front cover was the only thing to put on. Well, who ever was responsible for putting the nut to secure the fan blade, overtighten the nut, almost as if it were superglued or welded to the central post. I even took vice grips and a 14 mm socket wrench, which was the right nut size, besides the little tool they provided which isn't enough leverage to do anything, let alone loosen a nut that someone seemed to have used an impact wrench to put the nut on. time and money spent for nothing. The nut will not come off, the tubular pin to align the fan blade is destroyed and there are now groves on the central post from the vice grips, which may cause an imbalance in the fan rotation, With all that and the nut didn't budge at all. It's on there for good. I know what you are thinking, I must have made some mistake, I reviewed all the steps and did everything to the instructions provided and no mistakes, and no I didn't turn the nut in the wrong direction. Well, rather that the company claiming there is damage on the post, which there is, I will not even bother to return this and waste another minute on this fan. I will eat the cost and just leave and honest review expecting nothing in return. I just wished someone could have left a similar review for me to read before considering this fan.
