Bouffant Shower Cap, Lingerie Print

Bought this for my Granny, who was looking for a *large*, bouffant-size shower cap. Turns out they're hard to find these days. This one met Granny's specifications, and the seller (Beauty Encounter), shipped it to me promptly.I purchased several prior to finding this one. None of the other "extra-large" shower caps I purchased are actually any larger than a normal one. And some of them are downright scary, emitting horrible fumes, etc. This one is well made, and is actually as large as it claims to be.Don't bother trying any of the less expensive ones, such as the Magic Water Proof Shower Cap Extra Large that sells for about $2. As I say, they're no larger than a regular shower cap, are of horrible quality, and worst of all, emit horrible fumes. I bought one from Maya Beauty. They were horrible to work with.

It's sweet & effective, keeps my hair dry in the shower., doesn't cut into my skin, it isn't likely to tear easily and I personally like it alot. I dropped a star from the 5 star rating because:1. it has started to come unstitched in one small area after only a month or two of regular use; I can repair it, but really it shouldn't have happened so soon!2. IF YOU HAVE BIG HAIR OR A LOT OF IT, I can't really see how you would fit it all into this cap. I expected it to be roomier than it actually is. Works for me, but probably not universally helpful.GREAT PRICE, good seasonal pattern choices too!

Disclaimer: I read the reviews prior to purchasing so I bought this not expecting it be a bouffant-size cap, which it wasn't. Nevertheless, the elastic seems snug, and it's a cute pattern. I have long, thick hair and a normal-size head and was able to fit it over my hair comfortably. If you're looking for a cap to fit rollers under, this is NOT for you - it won't fit. But if you want a regular-size shower cap, this will work. I hope the elastic holds up for a long time.

I have a small head circumference wise. In fact, i buy hats in the girls section and I am 34 years old. This shower cap fits snug all the way around, including on top. The shower cap does not balloon outward to protect already styled hair. I would say that the shower cap is well made though... and I am very glad with my purchase. But if you have a head larger than a girl's or are wanting to protect pre-styled hair... this is not the shower cap for you.

This shower cap is cute but it's not overly large. It's got a vinyl lining with a printed fabric outer layer. The fabric layer is puffier than the lining. I have no problem fitting my shoulder-length thick hair under the cap, but it might be a challenge to get the cap over my hair if it was very long. It definitely wouldn't fit over rollers.Having said all that, I do like the shower cap--it's adorable and it keeps my hair dry when I shower.

I stored it outside the bathroom, rinsed it after every usage and turned outside to let it dry. After almost a year black dots began to appear from moist. This cap doesn't work as well as I wanted. My hair felt more greasy after shower, it doesn't have good ventilation which is not surprising, it's not terry cloth which I prefer now. To avoid this I had to fluff my hair from the skin, so it breathed better. I'm not completely sure if it allowed some moisture as it doesn't grip very firmly or it was just getting hot inside the cap. It held my hair quite well and it wasn't painful. I tried machine washing and it survived for about 4 washings before I noticed the inner layer began to crack, so I switched to handwashing. The most attractive thing about this cap is design. I think it could be better if the inner layer were terry cloth.

I've purchased many shower caps because I have thick, long hair that I only wash every third day. This shower cap has NONE of the problems I had with my previous shower caps. This one covers all my hair, has a good elastic stretch band to keep water out, is comfortable to wear, and looks cute (for a shower cap!). I am very pleased with it and plan to buy another as a gift for my niece who also has thick, long hair.

I purchased this leopard print shower cap as well as a pretty flowered one as one of my Christmas gifts tomy mother. As with most female Sr. citizens, my mother gets her hair done at the hairdresser once a week so it is not to get wet when she showers. This is a difficult task. She loves the caps. Everyone got a kick out of them when mom opened them. Made for a great gift.
