great design and smooth to operate
smooth and effortless action. It reachs into tight spaces. One touch button, activate and it pinches and releases by itself.

I love it. My hands don't get tired.
It saves a lot of man power when you need to crimp many fittings. I would give 5 stars but I found that the manual crimper was able to squeeze a little bit more the ring than the power tool. However there are leaks so far after over 100 crimps with water pressure of a 70 psi.

This will make your life easier
I am retrofitting underfloor hydronic heat in my house. Owing to the nature of the I joists I have a lot of fittings. You can't just drill through the top chord of an I joist so you must go down from the heat spreader, through the web of the joist, and back up to the heat spreader in the next bay. When working in between floor joists it can be very difficult to operate a manual clamp cincher. This tool takes all the hassle out of it. One press of your finger and it is done. I also got an adapter so I can power it with one of my many DeWalt 20v batteries.

I need another tool - right tool for the job
Folks, stop using that manual hand tool on your pex, it's a pain, and sometimes a tight situation makes it impossible to find an angle to crimp. Get a tool that does the job automatically... you're arms will thank you, and when you get into a tight spot, it'll just be easier. I have a bunch of ryobi tools and therefore went with their version of this tool. Used it to redo two whole house systems with pex lines and I'm quite happy with it.
