The Galaxy Zack Collection (Boxed Set): A Stellar Four-Book Boxed Set: Hello, Nebulon!; Journey to Juno; The Prehistoric Planet; Monsters in Space! Paperback – October 21, 2014

My son LOVES this set of books. Considering his name is also Zack and he loves space, he just thinks the similarities are so cool and wants to travel to Nebulon. Even though my son can read, this is our special “bedtime” set of books that I read to him and his little sister when the bright lights in their room are out and the twinkle lights are on. Such good stories and will get your kids interested in space and science if they aren’t already!

My son was 4, reading at a 3rd grade level, and trying to find chapter books in his reading level, but which wouldn't be too "old" in subject matter, was difficult. Until we found "Galaxy Zack", that is. The books are engaging, without dealing with subjects inappropriate for the younger kids, or being too scary. The writing is delightful, the font larger for little eyes, and the illustrations are fantastic. We have purchased every Galaxy Zack book available, and have pre-ordered the next two, so we can get them as soon as they are released. Huge fans in this household!

I highly recommend this series for K - grade1 kids. I bought this as a summer read for my son who just finished kindergarten. He is totally hooked on the stories. He can read by himself or we read to him. The story lines are engaging and generally have a good message. The illustrations are great and he can take a "picture walk" before reading each page which peak his interest. Great books.

Our son is at that age (9) where transitioning to more of a a chapter style book isn't always the most fun. The Galaxy Zack series has completely turned that around. He loves reading this series. No prompting needed. I also read these as bed-time stories and enjoy the adventures as much as he does. Highly recommend.

What a great series for younger readers! My son and daughter both love these books which is a major win around here. Zack is a good kid but not perfect and his adventures are very relatable. So very glad that this is a series - we will definitely buy more.

Bought as a gift for a 7yr old 1st grader boy. He was very excited to get these books. Looks like a very fun read with really cool illustrations and very much age appropriate for children who are just getting into reading chapter books.

My 6 year old/1st grade son really enjoyed this Galaxy Zack series. The books are a good length for bedtime reading. We would get through a book between 1-3 night depending on the time we had for reading. I read them to him, but I think by next year (7/2nd grade) he will want to/be ready to read them in him own.

My son loves these books! It was a great way to get him to read this summer.
