Rue (ruta graveolens) in this extract is highly effective (not a homeopathic version) -NOT TO BE TAKEN DURING PREGNANCY. Its documented therapeutic uses include the treatment of inflammatory conditions, eczema, ulcers, arthritis, fibromyalgia, antidote for venoms, insect repellent, and as an abortifacient (4–6). In massage oils it dramatically relaxes and can be used with lobelia extract making it a great way to treat injuries from the external areas. Rue has been used for centuries as a medical preparation and has a variety of roles, probably because of its varied chemical composition. It has been used to improve eyesight and nerves and to treat insect bites, gout, worms, rheumatism, and hysteria. Fairly effective for eye and sinus infections
I was taking this to treat another health problem, but to my surprise it was fairly effective for treating an eye infection and a sinus infection. That being said, I prefer Dr. Christopher's INFX pills for treating eye and sinus infections, because it's more effective, but this will work in a pinch as well. I like to buy empty pill capsules and just fill one up with this liquid. Makes taking it much easier (rue has a strange, bitter taste).
