Great box
I didn't have high expectations, especially going from a vented to a non vented box but this sounds great. My trunk is VERY shallow (2003 Mustang) and this fits very nicely. I don't even to worry about attaching it as it doesn't slide around like my previous one. Installation was also super easy, just make sure you have a drill as it didn't come pre-drilled.

I love the fact that the front face is 1" thick
Solid Subwoofer box, I love the fact that the front face is 1" thick. Very solid construction and the carpet is good quality and cleanly glued on.I'm using this box with an Infinity Kappa 1200W subwoofer, so I had to enlarge the opening to make the sub fit. I just used a 1" drum sander to slowly enlarge the opening, which did take a long time, but I knew I would have to enlarge the hole before buying the box.The only thing I don't like about this sub box is the terminal ring. Its the cheaper spring loaded kind, and it won't accept heavy gauge speaker wires (12 AWG speaker wire will not fit). Luckily, I found a direct replacement terminal cup (part # 04212) from ebay with binding posts, and now I can use banana plugs on the speaker wires.

Decent sound
Sounds tight and sealed. Not a loose sounding bass like other cheap ported box’s are.

Gets the job done
Can't say much about it; material is definitely the right kind. Fabric used on the outside matches my VW interior and the connections seem proper. Sealant can be found around the seams inside. It's a great sub box with the right amount of volume for my application, however note that the volume is 0.9 cu. in.If you want to, you can add material later down the line inside the box to really make it worth the price point. Gripes I have with it is that the wiring on the inside needs to be short, or you will hear it rattle inside the box under load. Also, cup terminals will leak air out of the box under load. Finally, only the face is 3/4 MDF. Everywhere else is 5/8.Otherwise, would buy again, 9/10

$35 Box
For a $35 sealed box, it's not bad. I put an Infinity 12' Kappa series sub in it and had to use a drum sander attachment on a drill. It took about 30 times (5 minutes checking fit and a few more times around to not make it to big.) around and it turned into a snug fit. Truthfully, I don't think the sealing foam was even necessary. I would definitely buy again. I don't have any air leaking from the terminal like others said and soldered my 12 awg wire connectors onto the inside terminals. Truthfully though, I would prefer to put my own binding post in over having a terminal box.

Very Impressed
When the enclosure showed up I was very pleasantly surprised with the the carpeting and overall build quality. The terminals aren't the best, but work just fine for my application and would have been a breeze to swap out for something nicer if desired. What you see in the picture is what you get, nothing more and nothing less. After reading some of the comments about air leaks, I went out and bought a tube of silicone and ran a healthy bead around every seam in the box, including around the terminal port and let it dry for 36 hours before installing the sub. No issues at all so far, and was certainly an easy fix for some peace-of-mind. Sounds great with my Type-R Alpine, matches the "optimal sealed" rating almost perfectly for my 1243D. Also has a little metal plaque on the front in the bottom right that says "BBOX - Atrend". It looks nice and gives the box a great look, I love it!

Not EXACTLY as advertised
I've had the box for a week now as of 8/12/24. I THOUGHT that I was buying a box that was made up of ENTIRELY 3/4" MDF. What was delivered has a 3/4" face and 5/8" everywhere else. I've made my own boxes before and the woofer I have was in a 3/4" MDF box that doesn't fit well in the trunk of my other car.It plays fine for a box this size. The bass response is tight and plays low. The hole for the subwoofer was 11" dia. I don't know if they all come like that, but I think someone would want to know that, because I had to make the hole bigger to make it work. Even though I don't hate the sound of the box, I'm still a liitle pissed that it wasn't completely 3/4" MDF. I'm over here wondering how it would sound if it was.
