This is GREAT for the "lazy" painter
This is GREAT for the "lazy" painter!! Sip and paint parties are so popular right now you could also pick up a couple of these and have a few friends over to paint! Just all sit around a big table and create together! It folds and unfolds nicely. The only problem is that if you rest it too long on the easel you can get little bumps. I used it with a 16x20 canves and I'm not sure it could hold much better. Be careful folding and unfolding because you can obviously pinch yourself. It is sturdy once you get it all unfolded and it folds down to a good small size. For $10 it is a great easel. especially for a novice like me so only wants to use it some of the time!

Just what I was looking for!
This light weight, folding table top easel is just what I needed for painting in my work room, and out on my deck (where it sits happily on a small table.) I have added a clip to hold the canvas, which is the one thing missing from this nice little easel. Actually I keep a couple of clips so I have just what I need, depending on the size and thickness of the canvas or paper I am using. The easel is easy to use and easy to store. I think it might be a little "delicate" for a small child and could pinch fingers, but older children would do well with it. It is easy to take along when you travel. I made a rip stock nylon carrying case with a handle for mine, for traveling and storage. You could probably find something that would work where luggage is sold.

Just right!
This worked perfectly for me! I'm not going to say this helped me paint better, think better, be more creative and everything else that it really cannot and is not meant to do. I am not a professional artist - painting helps me forget I am a corporate slave, so I paint, not really bothering about I paint. I do end up hanging my paintings as wall decor at home, but mostly because my husband is too kind to tell me they aren't good enough.Anyway, I didn't want something that was big and bulky, making me worry about where to put it when not in use. It is just right for me because I can prop it up onto my study table where my 10 month old cannot reach(yet!). It is foldable and can hold regular sized canvases.

A little flimsy, but works for the purpose
I purchased this as a beginning drawer and acrylics painter. It arrived in good condition, but the "bars" going across which hold the actual painting or drawing surface were not even. One was bent. However, it was flexible enough material I was able to bend it back into place so it would be even all across. As far as the other construction of the easel, everything worked as it should. It was a little flimsy overall, but works fine for a table top easel for my purpose. If I take care of it, I'm sure it will last a long time.

Works great, but there are a few issues you might ...
I used this as a table easel for two of my art classes. Works great, but there are a few issues you might want to know about:- Very light (which makes it easily portable), but it can also slide easily on the table if heavier pressure is put on it. I was trying to use it as an easel for drawing (pencil and charcoal) and ended up having to hold it with one hand to keep it stationary while drawing with the other.- The holding tray tends to not stay flat, but will "V" shape somewhat, which can be distracting, especially if you're trying to display artwork on it for others to see.Overall, it's good, but I found myself wanting to buy a different easel after some considerable usage.

Simple, Easy and Perfect!
I used this product for a 16 x 20 canvas painting. You can use it to place the canvas either vertically or horizontally. I don't have much room in my apartment, so I put this on a tray table and it fit perfectly.I thought I would have to pay a lot more money for a decent easel--don't be scared off by the low price. Its a tripod a is pretty sturdy, even for a clumsy person like me!https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026EFSB4/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 Pro Art Table Easel, Aluminum

lightweight and easy to use
I am not an artist. I have recently begun playing with paint as a way to relax. I used to do the same back in the days when I was a teenager, and I have no more talent now than I did then. Having made that clear, I find the Pro Art Table Easel is perfect for me. It is lightweight and stores easily and is easy to carry. I like it, and it performs as expected.

These aren't anything fancy but they certainly do the trick. I use them for paint classes and use canvas boards on them. I've used regular canvases, also and they hold up well. Depending on the size of the canvas, the top of the easel might on occasion pole through. I have almost indentical easels in a black metal made by another company that are far less quality.

Great for working at my table
This Easel is a great addition to my art table. It is very light but doesn't move thanks to the rubber feet that hold it in place. Works well for small and medium sized pieces. It is open so I have placed a piece of heavy cardboard on it so my sketching pages can sit properly for drawing or colouring.

Serves several purposes such as art, reading, by computer for items one is working one.
I use this for working on sketching (on my table top in the kitchen or wherever I want it.Also use it to put a book or workbook I need to look at while working on the computer re book content. The main appreciation was that I had one and was able to get another just like it/which I did not find in any stores here.

Bare basics
The back leg can swing in or out; that's the only adjustable part. This is as plain and basic as it gets, so don't expect anything fancy. I have to prop the front legs up on coasters to tilt my canvas back at an angle that works for me.

Would Buy Again
Purchased one for myself and two more as gifts. Easy to open up or collapse to store. I would not recommend for really large canvases but is great for your typical art projects.

Good easel for canvas up to 16 inches high
Good easel for canvas up to 16 inches high. Light weight, folds up well. I had one years ago and this one seems similar in quality.
