Received the small version but it is too small for a small hamster to run around in comfortably and this was clear just on a visual inspection.The ball arrives in two halves and a cap. The box states putting it together is a simple "click together" but back in the 1960's I single handedly built Apollo 13 in less time; from scratch.Having turned grey and grown the world's longest beard (after being cleanly shaven), I managed to get the two halves together but the "clips" don't lie flat and stick out a bit inside the ball and out.Having now gone through and buried 15 hamsters whilst putting the ball together, I realised the ball wasn't going to do the job for hamster number 16 and have decided to return it, which, on reflection, is a good idea as it was for my daughter but she's since grown up, graduated, had a family and retired.Hopefully, someone will be able to put it together faster than me and it might very well suit their needs as it looks like it cold be fun.

It was nearly impossible to put together as the plastic moulding is incorrect. Where there should have been holes to snap the the two pieces together the plastic had not been cut out. Cut them out with Stanley knife , managed to force the two sides together but they don’t really fit and it is not a ball that can roll as is not spherical. Absolute piece of crap, DO NOT BUY

Purchased this for my hamster after noticing he was outgrowing his current ball and his back was arching.Immediately after opening my reaction was that the ventilation gaps were way to big. After no longer than 10 seconds (supervised) in the ball my hamster caught his front feet within these large gaps. This is not safe, it could cause serious lacerations and fractures leading to deformity and pain.Do not purchase for a syrian hamster.
