Too expensive for number of recipes
I can't recommend this. It is thin to begin with but upon further inspection, it only has 10 recipes (40 total) for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. It's just too expensive for only 40 recipes. You'd do better to get recipes off the internet.

Inferior cookbook
Among the many flaws of this "cookbook" are typos and grammar mistakes throughout.Additionally, the author is a complete mystery--only his name is supplied There is no bio, background and no credentials, leaving his nutritional information unreliable I think this was a college assignment self-published into a "cookbook".Don't waste your money.

Where is the Sugar Content for the Recipes?
Since diabetes can be a precursor for CKD, why does this cookbook not list sugar content of its recipes in the nutritional content? Not worth the $14.00 IMHO!

wow
I was previously diagnosed with Kidney disease so I embarked on getting myself healthy. This cookbook is filled with recipes and food item lists for your pantry. I have made three recipes so far and they are absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

Hopelessness
To be honest I had just read " The Guide to healing your kidney 101" by Marie Stephens before I read this book the " Renal Diet" i was very disappointed in what he had to say about using table salt instead of Himalayan pink salt and Soy is a no no he advised to use it and eggs etc Marie Stephens actually suffered from ckd and its what she did to have her kidneys functioning again and advoided diayilisis.

Not a Serious Cookbook
Greatly disappointed in the rather silly excuse for a serious matter. We returned it the same day we received. Save your money and time.

Not suitable if you're watching protein intake.
Too many of the recipes in this book contained high protein ingredients, especially animal protein, which my husband's doctor said he should be avoiding.
