Been search for one to match my sender and had to return a few. Then I found this one that you can set to any sender ohms! Blew my mine that this existed. Hooked it up and it works great! Easy to install and directions were easy. Thank goodness!

Not universal will not work on 0-90 ohm sending unit. Order different one for this application.

I installed this gas gauge in my sailboat after the original gauge failed. I did not replace the sender in the gas tank and was a little concerned about whether this gauge would work, since there are different resistance ranges for the senders. But this gauge is easily programmable, so it was easy to set it up so that it worked with my old sender.

Had to find a video online to understand calibration instructions. Plenty of lead wire length to facilitate connections, though the gauge wire was couple of sizes smaller than wiring in the boat.Do multiple operations checks before you tighten it down.Installation looks good.

I installed this in my John Deere F932 lawn mower. JD wanted $150 for a factory one and used ones were around $90 online. The installation instructions for setting the resistance range were fairy easy to follow. I used my multimeter to measure the resistance range of my sending unit when empty and full (about 8 and 184 ohms in my case). So I selected the 10-180 ohm range. You press and hold the mode button for 3 seconds or so to put it into setup mode. The backlight will begin to flash. Then you press and release the mode button as needed until the needle points to the fill mark on the gauge that corresponds to the ohms range as illustrated in the instructions. In my case I had to press and release a couple times until the needle point to the half full mark, which corresponds to 10-180 ohms. Once set, power down the unit and you are done. It has like 6 different back light colors you can set as well, but I didn't mess with it. I left it the default red.

Works great , and is easy to install. It took a bit of working with to get it reading properly, but now works a little to good. When it shows empty it's empty and I had to walk back to the house
