Powerful
Still using this powerful thread today, repaired my pants better than the best thread brand of clothing maker. Even fixed my shoes and punching bag with it. Talk about durable and strength of material.

Excellent value for your money
This is the third I order this thread. I make totes with burlap coffee bags and I needed a strong and thick thread for the job that wouldn't be too costly. After researching on Amazon and reading lots of reviews I decided on this one. My first two orders perfectly fine, I was able to even use this thread for finer details without compromising the quality of the final product. I was so happy that I placed another order. Except that this time I was having a lot of trouble with the thread knotting up, unraveling, and fraying. I had several orders to finish up and deliver before Christmas and no time to wait for another order to be delivered. So I got online and went through reviews again to see if I had missed something, anything. And I am so glad I did because I had in fact missed the main thing, which was to use the appropriate size needle for the thickness of the thread. This is a T-70 which requires either a size 16/100 or an 18/110. I was using the 16/100, which worked for the first couple of cones I ordered, but oddly didn't work for the third time around. Upon switching to a size 18/110, the very same cone that was giving me so much trouble was working without any problems, no unraveling, no knotting up, no fraying. I was able to finish up all my orders and keep using the thread with no incidents whatsoever. This thread is a great value for your money. It is super strong, and there is no way you are able to break it using your hands. With that being said, if it gets knotted it will most likely break the needle before the thread breaks off. that's how strong it is. So if you are having a problem with fraying and knotting I would check your needle size to make sure it is appropriate. Just because you used the same size tread from another brand with a specific needle size does not mean that you will be able to use it with this thread as well. I have sewn several bags with this thread and they are SUPER strong. I will update this review if I have any problems in the future but in the meantime, I am ordering more of this thread in different colors. I am very happy with it and I do recommend it!

not Very bad
The only good thing about it - it's cheap. I tried numerous settings, different needles - no luck. It fries, tangles, breaks and, sometimes, break a needle. It's not bonded, so it unwinds and splits. It's probably still ok for hand sewing, but not for sewing machine. Totally disappointed with this purchase. UPDATE: It appear to just very tricky to set up, but I finally nailed it. Since it's not bonded it has a lot of friction on a friction plates and needle, so, on my machine I had to loosen friction plates all way down to almost zero and needle that appear to be work the best is Singer denim heavy duty. Also I had to loosen friction on a spool a bit. Now only complaint is - it's not bonded, so it's harder to thread the needle and work with the ends. But color is great and well suit my project. Will see how it will hold overtime.

Pretty Strong and Affordable Thread for Sewing Machine
Finally the Upgrade that I needed!! I've been struggling with weak cotton threads for years, and this tread is my new favorite thread. I work with layered 1000D fabrics on top of velcro, as well as EVA foam projects. I can confidently say my DIY home Viking sewing machine will not be breaking this thread like the old thread.

Seems durable so far
bought to make new seat covers on my golf cart and boat. So far few months in no real issues. broke a few times sewing but i was going through heavy marine vinyl with possibly not the correct needle in the machine.

Read closely -- not bonded polyester. Not even particularly high strength polyester.
I should have read the description closer before I ordered this. It is NOT bonded polyester, it is a simple 3 ply twisted polyester thread that isn't all that strong, either. It did sew decently in my machine, but it frays and breaks easily, and is not what I was looking for at all. I am a leather worker looking to add a little machine stitching to some of my work to save some time on simple, long seams. I normally hand sew with waxed, bonded polyester thread. I ended up ordering some much higher quality bonded polyester threads from another retailer, and every single problem I had with this thread disappeared simply by swapping to a better made thread. This may have its uses, but if you need something with resistance to abrasion (like a bonded thread would give you), this is not it.

Great upholstery thread!
I needed some heavyweight thread for an upholstery project of 2 chairs and it worked great and looked great!

Looks good but the spool looks considerably smaller than the other 1500yard #69 threads I bought from another Supplier! The other plastic spools are all the same shape as this one, yet the quantity of thread is considerably more, not sure why..the thread itself looks just as thick as the other ones, so I wonder if it’s actually 15000yards or maybe just 1000?
