Big Board First 100 Trucks and Things That Go

I bought this book for my grandson who turned 2. He LOVES all kinds of vehicles and LOVES this book! The book is much bigger than I thought it would be, but that’s not a bad thing. Just know that this isn’t a book that a little one can easily grab and go with them in the car or wherever. The content is divided into categories of vehicles which is nice from additional teaching perspective. The colors are vibrant and the photos are crisp and appealing. Most of the vehicles look like American vehicles though there are a few that look a little foreign or outdated. If you’re European, some of these may not resonate. All in all a great book for a good price.

My two year old son is borderline obsessed with trucks, and he loves those book. Good quality, easy for a two year old to use. Highly recommended.

I don't know what it is about 2 year old boys, but when they reach that age they become fascinated with machinery. I've experienced it with all of my nephews, and the latest addition to our family is no different. This is a large-size, full-color, board book - meaning the pages are thick and sturdy. All it consists of are photographs of real motorized machinery, taken from various angles, with the names of each vehicle shown. There's a page devoted to types of cars, types of trains, types of boats, types of airplanes, types of construction vehicles, types of farm vehicles and types of emergency/city vehicles. So it covers all the bases and is full of images to bring joy to a little boy's heart. My nephew reads this book every night with his father. Then he reads it over with me when I babysit him. There is just something so adorable seeing a 2 year old seriously pointing out a combine harvester or a dump truck as if it was the most important thing in the world. Not to mention the fact that it's a good item to use if you want the little one to have some quiet time. So if you've got a little boy in your family, or one that you need a gift for, I'd give this book two thumbs up.

My 22 month old girl loooovvess this book. She recognizes alomost all vehicles in the book by name. Other reviewers have noted that , this book is called first 100 machines but it show cases only vehicles. That is true. There are 3 different types of excavators (a giant, a mini and a normal excavator) that confused my kid. Although I am not very impressed, I am still giving 5 stars because it keeps her occupied and is a great learning experience. We own 4 books from this series. At first I didn't like them because they were just pictures and no story or text to read out and i really had to think hard what to say about each picture. But i was wrong. The pictures were enough to capture my little ones attention and she will sit for several minutes pointing out and 'reading' from these books. She has had it for 2 months now and its still her favourite. Its funny to hear her say "ambulance waan waan waan' or 'skid steer'. Worth the buy!

My kids LOVE LOVE cars, trains, trucks, etc. So I bought two of these for my 1.5 year old twin boys. I wish I had bought these books sooner. They LOVE them! Each page has so much variety, and my kids are now saying "taatoo" for "tractor". These books are awesome for 1+ year olds who love cars and trucks, and anything that moves. We mainly use these books during mealtime, it keeps them busy while we feed them. Of course my nanny has to clean the books after, but they are so easy to clean.

I have 5 kids, and each one has loved this series of books. The pictures are great to point at and show the baby different vocabulary words. My current 1 year loves this book!

Very colorful pictures. My son loves this book. The book is quite sturdy and hence is bound to very little damage when given to the little ones.Worth the price. Definitely recommended!

The photos and the names are of a good size, which keeps the kids interested in this book for quite sometime. My kid likes to read it daily.
