Awesome map for your D&D adventure games.

As a person who went Digital and still play at a table, having maps like these are great. The vinyl feels great the print is great too.

The map is wonderfully thick and a bit bigger than the one you get with WATERDEEP: DRAGON HEIST, which is perfect for my players. I use permanent marker to mark their major points, but may switch to something shinier. Unfortunately, the edges were bent in on arrival and the packaging did not have an easy way to get open, so it was a pain to get out of the tubing. The map also does not lay flat on my wall due to the bends. Solve the shipping issue and this map is a solid 5 stars.

Product detail is high quality, and the durability of the vinyl map is great. Perfect for any group of adventures!

I had ordered this map, alongside the Waterdeep Map Set (which I intend to do a separate review for), for the campaign that I am currently playing with my family. The original book came with a paper version that worked for the time being in getting a general direction, but it was too small to read the street names. I got this map in a timely manner, and upon further investigation it's everything I wanted it to be. The map is blown up roughly about 33% larger than the original paper map, and the vinyl is very pliable and durable. I'll have to seek out unique ways to make sure that the party can get around (tokens and the like) Waterdeep but this will definitely help out their endeavors when they have to wander around a large swath of the city.

Bought this to run Waterdeep: Dragon Heist with a new D&D party. Thought maybe we could reference it periodically to make the city seem more real. Turns out, we keep the map laid out on the table throughout the entire campaign with markers to keep up with where everyone is in the city. We know where the best shops, taverns and inns are and are able to find the streets they are located on thanks to this map. The vinyl is very durable and rolls up after the game perfectly.

I bought this before I got my book and realized that the campaign came with a paper mat that more things on it. However, this map is vinyl and less fragile while the other one that came in the book is made of thin poster paper. Because this mat is vinyl you should only draw on it with WET erase markers but overall it’s a great map if you dot want to worry about ripping the paper one. (I ended up hanging the paper one on my wall and it looks great)

It is as good as any of their other maps
