I have been using this switch for quite a while and have been very satisfied with the build quality and functionality. The remote is solidly built, and generally works well as long as you have direct line of site. If you need to add more TosLink ports to your system, this is a great option for you.

Dilemma, have WiiM Pro Plus streamer and Shanling CD deck both with optical Out and only one optical IN with my Q Acoustics M20 active speakers. Found this product which will accommodate 3 devices with optical OUT and feed 1 Optical IN for my speakers. Switchable, compact, seemingly well made with a remote at a very affordable price. Quick hookup, great results, easy to use. Some may be disappointed not getting a plug in power source. I used one I've had for some time to provide the 5 volt requirement. Both an optical cable and power cable are supplied. Happy with purchase. Recommended.

I received the 4 in with 1 out model. To hook up audio from a PS4 and computer to a DAC (headphone system) via SPDIF Toslink. Comes with a 5V USB cable to hook up to a 5V USB source or USB port that will power the device. I am using an iFi iPower X 5v power source that I already had. I installed silicon feet under the device. This device is very small and do not come with feet. The 3' SPDIF Toslink cable that comes with it is very poor quality but does work. Works as advertised. Sound quality using the way more expensive ($120) power supply sounds good. For how inexpensive the device is, I am impressed with output quality. Remote works and comes with 2 AAA Alkaline batteries. So far very happy with purchase.

Well-made, beyond simple to set up, and it works! What else do you want for that price? Great deal. HOWEVER, ditch the included optical patch cable, it's junk. Mine pulled apart the second time I attempted to disconnect it from the switch.

Product works fine but it should be made clearer that you must supply a five volt, one amp USB power supply for it to function. Getting one took additional time, effort and money which I found aggravating. Otherwise, it does the job.

Love this thing. I spent years with 2 computers, Mac and PC. My receiver only has a single, optical input. As a result, only one machine at a time could take advantage of the optical connection. This simple little box now allows me to run optical lines from each computer and one master out to the receiver. I can either click the switch toggle button on the box or use the IR remote control to swap between Mac and PC! Perfect!

I had previously purchased another optical switch that came in at 3 times the price. It was a piece of junk, riddled with problems and never worked smoothly. This unit is bulletproof... very well made, incredibly easy to set up, and works flawlessless. All that at a giveaway price. The thing that I love most about this unit is that going from my HDMI 1 to say, HDMI3 this unit will AUTOMATICALLY switch the optical sound. I don't have to use the included remote control. This is a real blessing when you have a coffee-table full of remotes, as we do. There is no comparison between this unit and the one that was so much more expensive. THIS is the superior unit. I purchased this based solely upon the reviews others had posted on Amazon, given their own experiences. I'm truly glad I did. This unit is everything they said, and more. We are THOROUGHLY PLEASED!!! Buy this with total confidence. You won't be disappointed.
