This unit comes with no booklet, any instructions and no screws.It only has 20cm of cable.I cut off the 13 amp plug and crimped on a 4 metre lead.I did not know that the 75mm little wire was the remote sensor.So I taped it up to make it weatherproof.Of-cause nothing worked. I took off my extension lead and replace the plug to send the lot back.If the box had a small exploded picture, It would have saved me lots of work.The cheap fixing lugs have no screws and It took me 30mins to 6 very small screws and widen the badly punched holes in the 3 clips.

Installation went okay seeing as it was just myself, brought the 3m length to use around the edges on my desk. Issue is the length of the cord from the infrared box to the light strip itself is very short and I would reccomend increasing that. The colours look great aswell. The controller is decent however when I use the smooth feature the light just go into a frenzied flashing but that's okay as I dont use that setting.

I wanted to use this light strip to light up an outdoor bubble wall. To support it well you really need more clips than they provide. It produces a good even light but unfortunately the control box is not environmentally robust so I put additional sealant on the lid.The reason I only gave it 3 Stars is because the end cap on the lightstrip is not watertight and after only three months water got in, shorted the lighting element and blew the electronic controller. I’ve yet to find an outside LED lightstrip that does the job.

The seller was helpful. I would recommend cutting the underside of the light lengthways to insure the black line is where you can cut (sometimes the line can be off) by half a centimetre. Very happy with the lights after more than 6 months.

The media could not be loaded.  Looks well made. Water tight LED strip and the remote looks of reasonable quality and not like standard LED strip light. Would use again. Downside was the odd LED (5 in total) inside the strip didn't work although it didn't affect overall brightness.

Update:- they stopped working completely last week .. disappointed as they weren’t cheap and when they did work they look so goodI have had 3 lots of led lights for the garden which have failed quickly .. these lights are awesome and are still going strong. Easy to use and fit, they look great.
