Q: Do you need adapters fittings for this system from European to American sizing?

Nope. Comes with threaded adapter that fit standard 3/4 inch threaded female fitting. Make sure the fitting is secured to framing and spaced according to installation directions. You will need some metric sized hex wrenches to install the unit. We love the unit so far.

Q: For the model with a tub spout, can you use the hand and rain showers at the same time?

The 43 7/16" distance is the correct measurement, the 61" measurement would be for the a similar shower system with a tub spout.
