Buy your size!
Nice material, thick and durable...just like the 874 Dickies work pants. The double layered knee is a nice addition for those who use these for work. Just be aware that you need to buy the right length. I bought a 32/34 b/c they were out of my 32/30 regular size. I figured I'd hem them as I have to do with most of my pants. Big mistake! Remember the knee? The double layered material is about 12". Since the pants were 34" in length, the patch was about 2" below my knee! Lol! Would've looked ridiculous if I had hemmed that! Anyway, it may have been less noticeable if I had bought the 32/32, but I figured I'd wait for my size to become available instead so the patch would be centered at my knee. Still 5 stars b/c of the quality.

This is a review I am happy to write
This is a review I am happy to write. These work pants are perfect for me. I need a lot of room to move when bending and kneeling. I have had enough of the cutie blue jeans that pretend to be men's work pants. These pants give me plenty of room to maneuver without the vise feeling. Also, I've spread 10 yards of black-dyed mulch exclusively wearing these pants and no stains at all. They come out of the wash perfectly like new, no shrinking. I am one satisfied customer. I bought second pair after working in the first pair one day.

Wider Than Expected
Maybe I'm just getting older, but I remember Dickies back in the day used to be really small and tight. Hence my decision to go with the relaxed straight fit. The waist still fits fine, but the legs seem really big and wide compared to relaxed fit Levi's or Lee's Jeans. Not a huge complaint though, as these are definitely more comfortable than those. Just not what I'm used to anymore I suppose. Durability-wise, these feel like they should definitely hold up just as well as any other jeans I normally use for work. The double knee is definitely a plus as that is always an area that wears out first for me. Great work pants, although next time, I may try the normal fit instead of the relaxed.

Comfortable and durable work pants
These pants come very stiff but they will loosen up after a few washes. They seem to be durable and easily wipe off. I bought these after going through work jeans and I prefer this fit and comfort over jeans. These are loose enough where I do not feel like I have to adjust them before bending over or working on the ground like I did in jeans.

Tough, dressy, functional. Good deal.
I really like these pants so much I bought them again. I work in Corporate IT and they're a nice combination of dressy enough plus functional. I wear them sometimes several days in a row and they've held up great. I only bought more because I managed to rip a L shaped hole in them while building a trailer in my garage...I probably should have changed...or stopped trying to walk when I felt obstructed. Whatever. Anyway, great pants!

under sized zero give waste
I wear a 38 in wrangler and Lee jeans.. Dickeys have always run a bit small, and I have 2 pair of very similar Dicky pants in 40 that are wore out and fit fine. I ordered these in 40 and are right on edge of returning for being too tight. wearing them now, and ok, but nothing tucked in, normally I would have 2 shirts tucked in, and it aint happening with these. Also for reference I havbe some typical carhart heavy duck carpenter pants in size 40 I can wear with long johns. So in nut shell at least 2 maybe 3 inches undersize waste from other brands. Other wise the are decent pants. Not super heavy like the ducks,,, but not rivet reinforced like the same pants from 10 years ago. Also they have double knees, but sewn at TOP ? be nicer if the left top open and riveted sides so you could slide in knee pads. Belt Loops....SMALLER than normal,,, I wear carhart mechanic no scratch belts at work, 1.25,,, and Bladetech ratchet buckle gun belts at home,,, 1-3/8" Just tried an old 1.5 inch belt and it fit bit was a bit of a struggle,,, So for normal use Id say 1-3/8 max.

As always, great pants at a good price. Dickies is like Carhart for people who don't want to spend a fortune for quality.
As always, Dickies pants get 5 stars. They fit right, and wear like iron. If I could give them one criticism, I wish the belt loops were just a tad looser. They're about the right height, but they're a tight fit for any belt that's not smooth leather. I've worn Dickies for years, and these are no exception-the fit is always consistent, and the quality is great

Love my Dickies
I have been wearing dickies for about 15 years. I love these double knee work pants. The cell phone pocket works great for a few tools, screwdriver, flash light, box cutter, etc. The pants are a bit stiff at first. I always wash them a couple times before wearing them. They are light weight, durable, and comfortable.

I bought this pair of Dickies relaxed straight fit double knee work pants as clothing for work (ie: general warehouse work). Some good points & some bad regarding the pants & what I got it for. Good: -Right side cell phone pocket; I use it to hold some of my work tools: big x-acto knife, pen, sharpie marker. -Double knee; good for keeping the fabric more durable at the knees (I sometimes have to crouch down, climb or crawl on all fours to get, lift, clean or move things around on the job. -Pant leg fit is slightly roomier (without being too baggy) for me. Personally, I have a slim build. -Pants feel comfortable when worn. Bad: -Cell phone pocket cannot be closed up. I worry that my tools may fall out by accident. If tools cannot be clipped to the edge of pocket, they tend to dig into my right back thigh whenever i crouch down. -Tunnel loops for belt is too small for wider or thicker belts. I need to wear a heavier belt to hold up my pants & the tools I carry around. If belt isn't heavy enough, the tools will weigh down my pants, making them sag & feel uncomfortable to wear. -Zipper fly sits a bit higher than it should. Makes it a small inconvenience when going to the toilet. Overall, I'd say these pants are both alright to wear for either work or as just casual wear.
